A local coil includes a coil element in the form of a loop. The coil element includes a first conductor, a second conductor, and a third conductor. The coil element includes a first dielectric and a second dielectric. The first dielectric is arranged between the first conductor and the second conductor, and the second dielectric is arranged between the second conductor and the third conductor. The coil element includes a receive unit that includes the first conductor and the second conductor, and a detuning unit that includes the third conductor. In a first operating state of the coil element, the receive unit has a first resonant frequency. In a second operating state of the coil element, the detuning unit is configured to detune the resonant frequency of the receive unit so that the receive unit has a second resonant frequency different than the first resonant frequency.

A local coil for a magnetic resonance tomography system is provided. The local coil has a coil winding and a preamplifier connected electrically thereto. The coil winding has a plurality of coil segments that are coupled capacitively to one another.

The connection is configured to be short-circuited by at least one diode. The first connection point and the second connection point are situated spatially between a first partial region and a second partial region of the antenna.

Extended detuning in local coils

A method for the control of a magnetic resonance system is provided. In a test phase before a magnetic resonance measurement, a test high-frequency pulse with several parallel individual high-frequency pulses is transmitted with a transmitter antenna arrangement over various different high-frequency transmitter channels. At lower transmitter power, the test high-frequency pulse generates essentially the same field distribution as an excitation high-frequency pulse to be transmitted during a subsequent magnetic resonance measurement. A high-frequency field generated by this test high-frequency pulse is measured in at least one area of a local pulse arrangement, and on the basis of the high-frequency field measured, a high-frequency field value that is to be anticipated at the local coil arrangement during the subsequent magnetic resonance measurement is determined. The control of the magnetic resonance system during a later magnetic resonance measurement includes taking the high-frequency field value into account.

Method for the control of a magnetic resonance system

A magnetic resonance coil for transmitting and/or receiving magnetic resonance signals is provided. The magnetic resonance coil includes at least two overlapping coil elements. Coil conductors of the at least two overlapping coil elements intersect in intersection regions and are arranged on a support. Mutually overlapping coil elements of the at least two overlapping coil elements are arranged on different sides of the support. The support is formed from at least three layers of a support material. A cavity that is filled with air or a filler material, the dielectric constant of the filler material being lower than the dielectric constant of the support material, is provided in the intersection regions in a middle layer of the at least three layers.

A local coil for a magnetic resonance tomography device includes a plurality of antenna elements. Each antenna element of the plurality of antenna elements has two conductor tracks. The conductor tracks are disposed on opposite sides of an insulator and are connected electrically conductively to one another by plated through-holes through the insulator. In areas, in which conductor tracks of at least two antenna elements of the plurality of antenna elements cross, at least one antenna element of the at least two antenna elements only has a conductor track on one side of the insulator.

The present embodiments relate to a local coil for a magnetic resonance tomography system. The local coil includes a preamplifier for amplification of a signal received by the local coil from an examination object in a receive phase of the local coil. The local coil also includes a detuning device for detuning the local coil in a transmit phase of the local coil, and a rectification device for supplying voltage to the preamplifier.

A standing wave trap for a magnetic resonance tomography system includes a local coil connecting lead and at least one flexible printed circuit board in the local coil connecting lead. The local coil connecting lead is wound.

A simple connection of a coil with a magnetic resonance tomography (MRT) is facilitated by a method and an adapter wherein a coil-connection element of at least one local coil is connected with an MRT-connection element of an MRT system. The adapter has a coil-connection element adapter designed to form a connection with at least one coil-connection element of at least one local coil. The adapter also has at least one MRT-connection element adapter designed to form a connection with an MRT-connection element of an MRT system. The adapter can be fixed mechanically to a fixing element of the MRT system.
