For avoiding collisions between the grippers (5) adapted to be moved out of the idling stage area and the grippers (4) disposed fixedly at interchangeable gripper rail partial sections (1) and work tool parts, the grippers (5) which are adapted to be moved out of the idling stage area, are raised into an upright position. The grippers (5) and the rotary adjusting drive (10) for the uprighting are adapted to be moved out of the idling stage area on a carriage (18-gripper mounting support) by way of an adjusting means (13) at the exchangeable gripper rail partial section.

Gripping devices in idling stage areas of a transfer press

An intermediate storage in a press in which intermediate storages are to be provided within the area of idling stages thereof. The intermediate storages include storage templates matched to the shape of the bottom side of the workpieces which are adapted to be liftable in the vertical direction by way of lifting means. The lifting means may thereby act on the storage templates in the sense of a lifting movement, for example, by way of intermediate members displaceable by a motor-driven spindle, which act on the storage templates in the sense of a lifting movement by way of counter-abutment surfaces disposed at the ends of the storage templates.

Intermediate storage in a transfer press

An arrangement for ejecting formed parts out of the matrix of a deformation press, in which for avoiding jamming of the segment of an ejection arrangement, which is displaceably and fixedly supported at the guidance in the shape of a circular arc of the driving lever, the mutually contacting surfaces are made according to different radial dimensions whereby the radial dimension of the counterabutment surface of the segment is slightly smaller than the radial dimension of the abutment surface of the driving lever. Clamping elements constructed as pressure cylinders serve for fixing the segment at the driving lever in a position adjustable by an adjusting mechanism; the clamping elements are installed in the segment spaced from one another in the direction of the longitudinal dimension of the circular arcuate guidance.
