Rotary table mounting and drive device

The invention relates to a needle bearing with an outer ring ( ) terminating on both its ends in a collar ( ), and with bearing needles ( ) guided in a cage in axis parallel disposition, as well as with a lubricant reservoir ( ) arranged in the bearing. This bearing is characterized in that the lubricant reservoir ( ) is formed by a groove ( ), arranged in the outer ring ( ), and by a middle part ( ) of the bearing needles ( ), with the middle part having a reduced diameter in relation to the remaining diameter of the bearing needles ( ).

Needle bearing

A roller bearing with roller elements constructed as rollers (,) or balls arranged between an inner race (,) and an outer race (,), and with a thick-walled outer ring (,) if provided. The inner surface of the outer ring forms the outer race (,) and the outer surface is provided for direct rolling on a cylindrical matching roller path, and has a crowned contour (,) curved in longitudinal section. In accordance with the invention, the spherical crowned contour (,) of the outer ring (,) is formed from several arcs that pass smooth into one another whereby the radius of curvature of a central arc and the radius of curvature of an outer arc have in a ratio from 2 to 1 up to 5 to 1 in relation to one another.

Roller bearing

A machine tool includes several telescopic struts, each of which being formed by an inner tube and outer tube arranged within one another. The telescopic struts are articulated at their one end to a frame and at their other end to a tool holder. The outer tube is formed with a plurality of circumferentially spaced recesses, with each of the recesses accommodating a recirculating ball bearing unit which includes a carrier body provided with endless ball tracks. Each endless ball track is divided in a load-bearing section and an unstressed, non-load-bearing return portion. The inner tube has ball tracks, with balls rolling along the ball tracks of the carrier body and the inner tube whereby the balls are guided from the load-bearing section into the return section.

A rolling-bearing-mounted linear guiding unit comprising a hardened and polished guide rail on which rolling element raceways are formed and a guide carriage longitudinally displaceably mounted on the guide rail and provided with a fixing surface turned away from the guide rail and an inner contour adapted in shape to the profile of the guide rail, rolling elements rolling in endless race canals between the rolling element raceways of the guide rail and surfaces situated opposite to these in the guide carriage and a damping element bveing provided next to the guide carriage and a damping element being provided next to the guide carriage and forming a damping gap with the guide rail, characterized in that the damping element is formed as a saddle engaging around the guide rail, which saddle in respect of the guide rail, has a fixing surface identical to that of the guide carriage, the inner contour of the saddle being adapted for the most part to the profile of the guide rail so that these delimit a damping gap of 0 to 40 .mu.m.
