A CPR training system comprises a plurality of CPR training manikins and at least one receiver unit, where each manikin comprises at least one sensor and a microcontroller connected to each sensor. The microcontroller is connected to a Bluetooth transmitter which is adapted to transmit the data from the sensors within a BLE advertising package to the at least one receiver unit. For the CPR training system there may also be provided a multi CPR monitoring device which comprises the receiver unit, a user interface, and a processor, where the receiver unit is adapted to receive CPR data from the transmitters as BLE advertising packages, the processor analyzes the received data, and the user interface shows the result of the analysis in a grid, where each grid cell represents the data from a respective transmitter.

CPR training system and method for communication during CPR training

A bow shaped pulse meter for new-born patients, comprising a control unit arranged in a central portion of the pulse meter, a first arm with an integrated first electrode and a second arm with an integrated second electrode extending respectively in a bow from opposite sides of the central portion, the integrated electrodes are configured to be in contact with a patient body (not shown) when in use, the electrodes being further electrically connected to the control unit. The pulse meter being distinctive in that the first and second arm and the control unit comprising an integral core element being made of a material having flexible properties to allow the respective arms to bend away from each other when the pulse meter is being arranged into an applying or removing position on the patient's body, the material having further spring back properties so that the arms naturally contract inwards such that the electrodes are maintained in contact with the patient's body when the pulse meter is in the applied position, the pulse meter further comprising a second layer overmolding at least a portion of each arm of the core element, the material of the second layer being electro conductive forming a connection between the electrodes and the control unit.

A system and a method is disclosed for monitoring parameters during cardiopulmonary resuscitation, including a compression measuring means, a ventilation measuring means and a processing means. If at least one of the measured values deviate from a respective reference range, the processing means provides an indication of the deviation. If more than one of the measured values deviate from a respective reference range, the deviations are prioritized with an indication being provided first to the deviation having a higher priority. The invention also regards a device for positioning on a patient's chest during cardiopulmonary resuscitation, which measures compression and which comprises a feedback module for providing a tactile output related to the measurements.

A cardiopulmonary bypass device may include a first tube configured for connection to a vein and a second tube configured for connection to an artery. The device may further include a pump connected between the first and second tubes. Method and system to determine correct tube placement during resuscitation

A system for reducing signal disturbances in ECG, which disturbances are caused by cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR). The system includes a measuring device for measuring one or more signals derived from parameters such as compression depth, lung inflation etc. as a result of CPR. The parameter signals form one or more reference signals that correlate with the signal disturbances. One or more adaptive filters filter the signals out from the signal that constitutes the ECG signals so as to remove disturbances caused by CPR.

A system for measuring and analyzing CPR parameters for use with and by an external defibrillator, where a pressure sensitive electrode is connected to a defibrillator, in addition to the standard electrodes of the defibrillator. The information from the pressure sensitive electrode, together with information derived from modulation of the impedance of the thorax, measured by the defibrillator, describes the quality of the CPR performed, and is used to generate voice messages that increase the quality and the effectiveness of the CPR. The defibrillator may in addition be equipped with a transmission device that sets up a radio connection with an emergency center. The emergency center is equipped with a display unit that shows the activities at the resuscitation site. In addition to the data transfer link, a speech connection is set up via a microphone and a speaker on the resuscitation site and a microphone and auditory unit at the emergency center, in order to allow an operator at the emergency center to intervene and direct the attempt at resuscitation during the critical phases following the electrical shocks. During training and practice, the defibrillator or the training defibrillator will receive information from sensors placed in the manikin regarding the CPR performance, and will then use this information to give instructions.

System for measuring and analyzing cardio-pulmonary-resuscitation (CPR) parameters for use with and by an external defibrillator (AED) or a training defibrillator

A system for communication between sensors in training equipment and electrodes for a defibrillator (AED) or a defibrillator-trainer (AED-T) provides for determining electrode positioning and providing feedback to the user. The training equipment is provided with a non-conductive chest skin, and the communication is wireless and bi-directional. The information from the manikin is generated by a microprocessor with a digital-analog converter. The information signal is transmitted to the sensors in the manikin by use of drivers, which sensors each constitute one half of a non-galvanic coupling, in which the chest skin separates the halves, and the other halves of the non-galvanic couplings are formed by electrodes that are attached to the chest skin, the non-galvanic coupling being in the form of capacitors or coils.

A system for measuring parameters during chest compression in a life-saving situation or a practice situation is provided, in which a pressure pad containing e.g. an accelerometer and a force activated switch (SW), as well as a calculation unit (B), is positioned on a patients chest, alternatively on or inside a manikin's chest, in order to register parameters such as depression distance, duration or rate of depressions during chest compression.

A system for detecting an electrode position for a defibrillator on a manikin includes electrical conductive faces that are provided in hidden positions under the manikin skin in locations that correspond to correct and incorrect positions for placement of the defibrillator respectively, and which constitute the respective halves of a capacitor. The faces are connected to a first and a second oscillator respectively, which oscillators emit two different frequencies. A position indicator may be arranged inside the manikin, which indicator will give notification to the user by the use of light sources, e.g., light emitting diodes that shine through the manikin skin, or by activation of a sound signal. A signal analyzing device judges the correctness of the electrode positions via output from the oscillators.
