A cartridge seal is provided for sealing a shaft () with respect to a housing () and is intended to be a slide ring seal arrangement () for a centrifugal pump. The cartridge seal includes a shaft protection sleeve which is rotationally connected to the shaft () by a retaining ring, a support () for incorporating the cartridge seal into a housing opening of the pump housing (), a slide ring which is rotationally connected to the shaft protection sleeve and a counter slide ring which is rotationally connected to the support (), as well as an enclosed space () within the sealing arrangement. The space () is fluidically connected to a sealing gap formed between the slide ring and the counter slide ring, and is at least partially prefilled with liquid in order to prevent dry running when the pump is operated for the first time.

Centrifugal pump

A rotor () provided for a canned motor of a wet-running centrifugal pump forms the shaft for the drive of the impeller () and includes at least one permanent magnet () which is encapsulated in a fluid-tight manner. The peripheral part of the encapsulation in the region of the at least one permanent magnet () forms the rotor shaft.

Rotor for a canned motor

A bearing arrangement of a shaft () is provided, with which an annular bearing sleeve () is applied onto the shaft (). The bearing sleeve (), for axial fixation, bears with at least one axial end () on a retaining sleeve () applied onto the shaft (). The retaining sleeve (), at least at one axial end (), has a greater wall thickness than in its axial middle region ().

Bearing arrangement

A pump assembly with a rotatable rotor shaft (), wherein the rotor shaft () includes at least one axial bearing () and a radial bearing (), which are integrated into a common bearing assembly ().

Pump assembly

The invention relates to a rotor including a magnetic material. At least one surface section of the magnetic material is provided with a wear-resistant coating.

Rotor made of magnetic material

A bearing arrangement of a shaft () is provided with which an annular bearing sleeve () is applied onto the shaft (). At least in the axial region in which the bearing sleeve () is arranged, the shaft () includes a profiling extending parallel to its longitudinal axis (X). A corresponding engagement element () on the inner periphery of the bearing element () engages the profiling with a positive fit. At least one engagement element () extends in the direction of the longitudinal axis (X) of the shaft () only over a part of the length of the bearing sleeve ().

A magnetic drive arrangement includes a multitude of permanent magnets () which are arranged along the periphery of a housing wall (), wherein the magnets () are held with a non-positive fit by the housing wall () and bear on this. The manufacturing effort is simplified by way of the above-identified arrangement. One may advantageously apply parallelepiped magnets () as well.

Magnetic drive arrangement

A pump unit is provided having a wet-running electric motor, wherein a rotor of the pump unit can be driven by the electric motor at a maximum speed of greater than 20,000 rev/min, and the rotor is sealed off axially in the region of a suction port.

A Moineau pump or Moineau compressor includes a conically designed inner () and a conically designed outer () element, whose longitudinal axes (X, X) run at an angle to one another and intersect at a point. The pump or compressor has at least two sections () in the axial direction. A part () of the inner element () located in a second section () is arranged rotated with respect to a part () of the inner element located in a first section () about the longitudinal axis (X) of the inner element (). A part () of the outer element () located in the second section () is arranged rotated with respect to an other part () of the outer element () located in the first section () about the longitudinal axis (X) of the outer element ().

Moineau pump

An eccentric screw pump with an annular outer part () and an inner part () arranged therein has an interior of the outer part () and an exterior of the inner part () tapering in a complementary manner towards an axial end (). In the axial direction (X, W), the inner part () and the outer part () are movably received in relation to each other and the inner part () and/or the outer part () are configured in such a manner that pressure applied to the pressure side of the eccentric screw pump generates a force that acts upon the inner part () axially to the direction in which the inner part () tapers and/or a force that acts upon the outer part () in an opposite axial direction.

Eccentric screw pump

The ready-to-mount axial face seal comprises a rotating unit of a shaft protection sleeve pushable over the pump shaft with a longitudinal section projecting out of the housing of the pump and fastenable to this shaft, with a spring-loaded axial face seal ring surrounding the shaft protection housing and with an elastic sealing ring in the shaft protection sleeve as well as a stationary unit, surrounding the shaft protection sleeve, of a counter ring on which the axial face seal ring bears and of an assembly part for fastening the axial face seal on the pump housing. In relation to the diameter of the pump shaft the wall thickness of the shaft protection sleeve is smaller than with the known shaft protection sleeve. Furthermore the outer diameter of the axial face seal ring and of the counter ring in relation to the same diameter of the pump shaft is an associated standard diameter of an axial face seal without shaft protection sleeve. Such an axial face seal may be applied into a standardised mounting space which is envisaged for a standard axial face seal without shaft protection sleeve.
