Hydrogel-based scaffolds useful for promoting pulp cell growth and biosynthesis, regulating pulp cell migration and morphology, or both as well as methods for their production and use are provided.

The disclosure provides for compositions, systems, and methods of cell expansion, stimulation and/or differentiation. The disclosure further provides for a mesh substrate and associated methods capable of stimulating cell expansion, for example, T cell or stem cell expansion. In another aspect, the disclosure provides for an electrospun mesh substrate and methods of using thereof comprising a silicone rubber composition, for example, polydimethylsiloxane, PLC, or combinations thereof.

Methods, compositions, and systems for activation and expansion of cells

An implantable device is provided for soft-tissue or soft tissue-to-bone repair, fixation, augmentation, or replacement that includes a biomimetic and biodegradable nanofiber scaffold. Also provided is a fully synthetic implantable multiphased scaffold which includes, in a single continuous construct, a plurality of phases to mimic the natural anatomy of a tendon or ligament and their insertion sites. Also provided are scaffold apparatuses for musculoskeletal tissue engineering.

Methods and apparatuses are provided for musculoskeletal tissue engineering. For example, a scaffold apparatus is provided which comprises microspheres of selected sizes and/or composition.
