A method () is proposed for the manufacture of benzene, in which a first feedstock mixture is formed, which contains alkylated aromatics and hydrogen, and in which the alkylated aromatics contained in the first feedstock mixture are partially converted with the hydrogen contained in the first feedstock mixture to the benzene through hydrodealkylation (), thereby obtaining a first product mixture, wherein the first product mixture contains the benzene, the unconverted alkylated aromatics, alkanes with one to three carbon atoms formed in the conversion of the alkylated aromatics to the benzene, and the unconverted hydrogen, and wherein at least a part of the alkanes with one to three carbon atoms and of the hydrogen are separated from the first product mixture, thereby obtaining a light-gas fraction. It is proposed that the hydrogen contained in the first feedstock mixture is provided at least in part with the use of a low-temperature separation (), to which at least a part of a second product mixture is supplied, wherein the second product mixture is formed at least in part through steam cracking () of a second feedstock mixture, and that the light-gas fraction is also supplied at least in part to the low-temperature separation (). A corresponding plant also forms the subject matter of the invention.

Method and system for producing benzene

A method for obtaining crude oil products is proposed in which a gaseous stream (d) is formed from a first crude oil stream (b) and the gaseous stream (d) is at least partially subjected to a steam cracking process () in which a cracked gas stream (e) is produced which is at least partially quenched with a liquid hydrocarbon stream (f), thereby forming a quenching effluent (g). It is provided that at least part of the quenching effluent (g) is used to form a separation feed and that the separation feed is separated by distillation () together with a second crude oil stream (c), forming distillation effluents (h, i, k, p, r). The separation feed is formed so that it contains hydrocarbons having one, two, three, four or more carbon atoms contained in the quenching effluent (g) and/or hydrocarbons formed from such hydrocarbons. The invention also relates to an apparatus () configured to carry out the method.

Method and plant for obtaining crude oil products

A method for obtaining crude oil products is proposed in which a gaseous stream (d) is formed from a crude oil stream (b) by evaporation () and the gaseous stream (d) is at least partially subjected to a steam cracking process (), a cracked gas stream (e) being produced in the steam cracking process () which is at least partially quenched with a liquid hydrocarbon stream (f), thereby forming a quenching effluent (g). It is provided that a fraction (f) of the crude oil stream (b) that remains liquid during the evaporation () of the crude oil stream (b) is used at least partly to form the liquid hydrocarbon stream (f) used for the quenching. The liquid hydrocarbon stream used for the quenching is low in or free from components that have been separated from the quenching effluent (g) or a stream formed from the quenching effluent (g) and the quenching effluent (g) is obtained by quenching with the liquid hydrocarbon stream (f) at a temperature in the range from 0 to 250&#xb0; C. The invention also relates to an apparatus () configured to carry out the method.

Process and system for obtaining crude oil products

The present invention provides a master batch composition based on elastomeric carriers, comprising an organic peroxide, a plasticizer and a filling material and optionally further additives compatible with the organic peroxide, wherein, in addition to the elastomeric carrier, it contains a polyoctenamer. The present invention also provides a process for the production of a master batch composition, wherein (a) the elastomeric carrier, the polyoctenamer, the plasticizer and optionally a part of the filling material or filling material mixture are homogeneously mixed and thereafter (b) the filling material or the filling material mixture or possibly the remaining amounts thereof, together with the organic peroxide, are incorporated at a temperature below the decomposition temperature of the peroxide. On the basis of its properties and of the simple and reliable production thereof, the master batch composition according to the present invention is very suitable as a modification agent and especially as a cross-linking initiator for the further working up of elastomeric mixtures.

Process and catalyst for dehydrogenation or dehydrocyclization of

Oligomerization and isomerization of olefins, e.g., butene, is performed in the gas phase on a solid catalyst containing a superacid fluorine compound of an element of Group III, IV and/or V of the periodic table, e.g. Al.sub.2 O.sub.3 impregnated with a superacid or a salt thereof. e.g. HBF.sub.4, (NH.sub.4).sub.2 SiF.sub.6, H.sub.2 SiF.sub.6, NH.sub.4 BF.sub.4 or HPF.sub.6. The process is particularly applicable for increasing the olefin yield in steam cracking plants or for the recovery of fuel components from FCC residual gases.

Process for oligomerization of olefins

Low-molecular weight olefins from heavy hydrocarbons are obtained with a hydrogenating pretreatment and a subsequent thermal cracking of at least a portion of the hydrogenated product. In the first stage, the polyaromatic content of a first hydrocarbon fraction high in polyaromatic compounds, e.g., a vacuum gas oil, is selectively degraded with a zeolitic hydrotreating catalyst, and in a second stage the resultant hydrocarbons are refined with a non-zeolitic hydrotreating catalyst in admixture with a second heavy hydrocarbon fraction low in polyaromatic compounds, e.g., and atmospheric gas oil. This two-stage process permits the utilization of lower operating pressures as compared to the separate treatment of the heavy hydrocarbon fractions.
