The invention relates to a device () and a method for handling notes of value. The device comprises a first module () and a second module (). The first module () is movable relative to the second module () and/or the second module () is movable relative to the first module () in at least one direction (P, P, P). In a first operating state of the device (), notes of value can be transported between the modules (). The second module () comprises at least one guiding element () for guiding the notes of value during the transport of the notes of value between the modules ().

Device and method for handling value notes

The invention relates to a device () for handling notes of value, comprising a first transport path (), a second transport path () and at least one third transport path (), wherein the notes of value can be transported along each transport path (). Further, the device () has a switch () via which the three transport paths (to) can be connected to each other and with the aid of which the notes of value can be derouted from one of the transport paths (to) in another one. At least one transport element (to) is assigned to each of the transport paths (to) with the aid of which the notes of value can be supplied from the switch () to the respective transport path (to) or vice versa from the respective transport path (to) to the switch (). The three transport elements (to) are driven by the same drive unit, wherein the direction of rotation of at least one of the transport elements () can be reversed independently from the direction of rotation of the other two transport elements () relative to the direction of rotation of the other two transport elements ().

Device for handling value notes

A thermal printer with a printing head is described for the printing of differently thick print media, especially label course or the like, in which opposite the printing head constructed as a pressure beam there lies at least one transport roller, and the medium to be printed is led through the input gap between printing head and transport roller. So that differently thick print media, especially label courses, can be printed with little wear on the printing head, the invention provides that the pressure beam is made liftable and lowerable.
