A relay has a magnet system with a core partially enclosed by a coil. A yoke has a first yoke leg attached to a first end of the core and a second yoke leg extending parallel to the core. The second yoke leg has an armature mounting portion formed on an upper side of the second yoke leg remote from the coil. A pole has a first pole leg connected to a second end of the core and a second pole leg extending parallel to the core. The second pole leg has an upper surface substantially aligned with the armature mounting portion. A fixed contact is arranged on a fixed contact carrier substantially aligned with the second pole leg. The arrangement of the magnet system ensures precise positional alignment during extrusion coating with a plastic material.

A system for transporting small components, generally electrical components, arranged in a row comprising an arbitrary number of chain links. The components are accommodated within a cavity present in the chain links. The cavity is defined by at least two walls, at least one of which must be rigid, while the wall located opposite thereof is a resilient wall.

A polarized magnetic relay has a base body, an armature, an envelope that encompasses insulating material, a coil, a core and a bar-shaped permanent magnet. The base plane is defined by the bottom side of a base body. The armature is arranged between two contact springs that lie parallel to each other in a common plane. Two transverse terminal webs, which have their sheet metal plane extending parallel to the base plane, extend out of the envelope in the area of the rotational axis of the armature and these terminal webs are respectively connected with a fastening tab that has its sheet metal plane extending perpendicular to the base plane. The contact springs exhibit two spring arms and a connecting web, respectively, which has its sheet metal plane extending perpendicular to the base plane. The spring arms exhibit a contact making part and a part that is embedded in the envelope. The part that is embedded in the envelope emerges into the connecting web.

A coil body consists of a coil tube having flanges integrally formed onto the ends and having an axially through-extending opening. This core opening is formed by a successive arrangement of radial recesses which alternately extend through the coil tube wall from opposite sides. These radial recesses are formed by of reciprocally opposed projections of two cooperating mold halves of an injection molding tool. Such an arrangement permits manufacture of winding coil bodies with a simple two-part mold, eliminating a need for moveable components for forming the axial spindle core opening during the molding operation. The resulting coil body includes the continuous axial spindle opening defined by wall segments around its entire periphery and for easy attachment to a winding spindle for winding.

The relay has a rocker armature (3) arranged between a base (1) and a coil (7), which is drawn respectively into one of two switching positions by a permanent magnet (55). Contact springs (34) that work together with the fixed contacts (14) anchored in the base are connected with the permanent magnet. For the stabilization of the construction and for the division between a contact chamber (4) and a coil chamber (6), a main body, preferably with an H-shaped cross-section, is provided, which overlaps the base (1) in the manner of a box, and which comprises projections (57) on both sides of the armature, on which terminal pins of the base can be supported. Through the injection of sealing compound into the coil chamber (6), the construction obtains a high stability. In this way, with one and the same construction, conventional solder pin terminals, SMT terminals and press-fit terminals can be used. The stable main body can transmit high mechanical pressure forces to the press-fit terminal pins supported on it, or can also ensure stability against heat influences during SMT connections.

An improved relay of conventional design is disclosed wherein the relay has an armature and at least one moveable contact element. A slide is attached to the armature and moveable contact element. The slide is of a length matched to the actual distance between the armature and the moveable contact element after the armature and moveable contact element are secured to a base and moved to a contact position.

A linear drive mechanism has a combination of a drive cylinder, a drive rod stroke-limiting element, position sensors, a solenoid, and a terminal strip, together with internal wirings and hose connections. The drive mechanism can be arbitrarily arranged quickly and simply at a processing apparatus or assembly structure as a unit, and only a cable having the external signal and control lines as well as a supply line for the pressure agent need be connected thereto. No disturbing and involved wirings and position sensing elements therefore need be arranged in the actual tool region.

Electropneumatic or electrohydraulic linear drive mechanism

A relay includes a coil member having two through extending contact spaces parallel to the axis of the coil member. The contact tongues are arranged in the contact spaces and are anchored in common in a first coil flange to form working air gaps with pole pieces in the region of a second coil flange. The pole pieces are arranged in pairs and lie perpendicularly in a plane at an end face of the second coil flange. A permanent magnet arrangement having a plurality of magnetic poles corresponding to twice the number of pole pieces polarized the pole pieces. The permanent magnet poles facing away from the pole pieces are coupled to the bearing side of the contact tongues via flux guidance plates. The permanent magnet regions allow individual independent balancing of each and every pole piece to achieve synchronous switching of the two contact tongues.

An electromagnetic relay includes a coil having a winding between two coil flanges wherein one of the coil flanges forms a pocket-shaped contact chamber. An angled yoke is provided for the coil on which is seated a flat armature that is secured by an armature retaining spring. Male retaining members extending from the angled yoke mount the retaining spring and can be bent to set the armature restoring force. Separation of the moving parts of the relay at an end face of one coil flange from the winding enables casting compound to fill the winding space and seal the contact chamber.

A relay having a coil body 1 with a tongue-shaped armature mounted on the inside of the coil body and the armature is secured at one end 6a to a first coil flange 4 and its free end moveable between two pole plates 8 which are in the vicinity of the second coil flange 5. At the end where the armature 6 is fastened the coil flange 4 comprises a rim bead which together with the retaining webs 21 of the armature 6 form a planar seating surface for a sealing film 12 and at the other end of the coil flange 5 the two pole plates 8 together with spacing members of the coil body form a planar seating surface for a sealing film 9 and a good seal of the relay is obtained due to such simple structure while maintaining good magnetic coupling.

Electromagnetic relay and method for manufacturing such relay

The rotating armature relay exhibits one or two ferromagnetic bars which are provided with an insulating covering in their central area. Contact springs are secured in the insulation covering, the contacting, free ends of said contact springs respectively interacting with cooperating contact elements anchored in a base body. As a result, a slide-free and, thus, low-friction actuation derives as, however, does relatively high friction at the contact locations, whereby contact impacts are suppressed and foreign layers are abraded from the contact surfaces.

An electromagnetic miniature relay of a narrow structure characterized by a flat core being embedded in a body and extending outside of the ends of the coil to form pole pieces, a stationary contact element being embedded in the body adjacent each of the pole pieces, a flat armature extending parallel to the flat coil and having ends forming air gaps with the pole pieces, said armature carrying flat spring-like contact portions secured to the center of the armature and engaging the stationary contacts when the coil is energized to attract the armature into contact with the pole pieces.

Electromagnetic miniature relay and method of manufacture

A relay comprises an elongate armature which is seated at one end in a carrier of insulating material. Movable contact springs are anchored in the carrier and comprise extensions which emerge from the carrier and are secured in a base with respective fastening portions. Such extension of the respective contact springs forms a terminal lug integrated as a one-piece structure with the contact, as well as a friction-free bearing for the armature without provision of an additional bearing element.
