The present invention relates to a drilling hammer comprising a hammer tube () that is rotationally drivable inside a housing (), a striking tool () located in the hammer tube () and provided with a piston () that can driven with a reciprocating motion, and an operating mode change-over switch () for the 'impact drilling' and 'chiseling' operating modes. The hammer tube () is decoupled from its rotary drive when in the &#x201c;impact drilling&#x201d; operating mode and is secured in the housing () in a non-rotative manner when in the &#x201c;chiseling&#x201d; operating mode. To obtain a switching mechanism () of the operating mode change-over switch () having a very flat design and requiring little installation space, an actuator ring () is fixed on the hammer tube () in an axially displaceable and torsion-proof manner, the actuator ring including at least one radially projecting locking spline () on its outer side facing away from the hammer tube (), the locking spline being capable of engaging in at least one axial recess () in the gearbox and in locking toothing () in the housing. Rotational motion of a control button () of the operating mode change-over switch () is converted to axial displacement of the actuator ring () on the hammer tube () by the switching mechanism (). In addition, the operating mode change-over switch () can be used to activate a &#x201c;drilling&#x201d; operating mode, in which the striking tool () is decoupled on the drive side.

Drilling hammer having an external mechanism for selectively switching operation between impact drilling and chiseling modes

A hand power tool has a tool, a hammer tube, a striking mechanism with a striker and an anvil with an integrated receptacle for the tool which is strikingly drivable in the receptacle, a blocking element connecting the tool and the anvil in an axial direction, and a toothing that connects the anvil with the hammer tube displaceably in an axial direction.

A snap ring for shafts or bores is proposed, which is able to be axially fixed in position by snapping into place in a circumferential groove. The snap ring is provided with a centering ring which, when the case of the snap ring is installed in the circumferential groove, extends with radial clearance to an annular clip of the snap ring, which is disposed approximately concentrically to the circumferential groove.

An electric combination hammer for use either as a drilling hammer or as a chisel hammer has a housing and a handle arranged on it. The housing has arranged on it an on-off switch having a pawl and a switch element for manually switching from drilling operation to chisel operation and vice versa. Also arranged is a catch device by which the pawl may be engaged in chisel operation and which also prevents a latched position from being engaged in drilling operation. The catch device has a catch bracket having two legs which are connected by a joint and may be brought into operative connection with a blocking element that blocks the joint in at least one pivot direction to establish the catch function. The catch device also has at least one catch element which may be brought into operative connection with another catch element that is in operative connection with the pawl.

A hand power tool has at least one safety coupling arranged in a drive train, the safety coupling having at least two coupling elements for transmitting a torque around a rotary axis, at least one arresting element which is spring loaded and held in a guiding passage for connecting the coupling elements with one another, a guiding element, a spring providing spring-loading of the arresting element and supported in direction of the arresting element by the guiding element, the guiding element being non rotatably guided relative to an axis extending parallel to the rotary axis by guiding surfaces in the guiding passage, and the arresting element unlatching and keeping in contact with a surface toward which the arresting element is urged by the spring in response to exceeding of predetermined torque.
