A sealing arrangement is disclosed for sheet-like elements such as flat wall elements (e.g., pasta dryers). A separation joint can be sealed against penetration gases or steam by placing level sealing elements on both sides of the separation joint, the sealing elements being braced against each other by connections, such as screw connection.

Sealing arrangement

A pasta dryer comprising a conveyer belt for conveying and delivering dried pasta, the conveyor belt being configured as a continuous conveyor. To operate more efficiently, the conveyor belt has a delivery table in the vicinity of an idler, the table comprising an attached fixed or sliding product collection tray. The reinforcement elements of the conveyor belt are preferably S-shaped.

Pasta dryer

A drier for continuous flow drying of food products, especially pasta, inside the drier with adjustable and/or conditioning zones along the continuous flow path of the product. The inside of the drier can be accessed by a maintenance technician and the respective horizontal segments of the side walls are sub-divided perpendicular to the direction of the continuous flow from top to bottom into respectively at least two vertical segments which are respectively curved in an outer direction and which can also be moved away from the housing in an independent manner, enabling the maintenance technician to have access to the inside from the respective point of a vertical segment moved away from the housing.

Drier for continuous flow drying of food products

An apparatus for cleaning pasta presses, particularly for the 'in situ' cleaning of the screws of screw-type machines, kneader mixers and the like in the pasta industry. This is effected without dismantling the machine by conveying cleaning liquids through the screw-type machines which are closed in liquid-tight manner. The cleaning liquids are preferably recycled and filtered.

A roller mill, in which the milling rollers are pressed together with high pressures, has a fluidic device for imparting the respective pressure. This fluidic device comprises piston-cylinder units and a pressure line for the fluid. In order to obtain a skewing of at least one roller in dependency upon the pressure exerted by the fluidic device, pressure sensitive means are interposed between the pressure line and a displacing device for the skewing angle. In this way, a pressure signal may be transferred to a converter for converting the pressure into a corresponding displacement stroke. Preferably, at least one roller has a basic camber or crown which corresponds to a pressure within a lower range of the occurring pressures.
