A connecting device that connects to at least one external electrical conductor of a photovoltaic solar module. The connecting device includes a plurality of busbars, a support element, a housing, a diode and a contact. The plurality of busbars are arranged next to one another, while the support element is attached to the plurality of busbars and includes a bottom face to be positioned on the solar module. The housing is positioned over the support element and the plurality of busbars and includes an edge surrounding the support element and the plurality of busbars when the overhousing is positioned on the solar module. The diode fits onto the plurality of busbars and includes diode leads that fit onto one of the plurality of busbars, such that the plurality of busbars are connected together through the diode.

Connecting device for connecting an electrical conductor to a solar module and method for the production thereof, together with a solar module with such a connecting device

A solar module having a housing and a solar element is described, wherein the housing comprises a connecting element, which is connected to the contact surface of the solar element in an electrically conductive manner. Furthermore the connecting element is connected to electrical connection sockets, by means of which connecting conductors may be connected. A contact element which is biased against the contact surfaces of the solar elements is arranged between the connecting element and the contact surfaces of the solar element as a contact element. As a result of this, soldered, clamped or screwed connections between the solar element and the connecting element are unnecessary. A simple and cost-effective automated production of the solar module is thus made possible.

A connecting device that connects at least one foil conductor to at least one connection line comprises an insulative connector housing having a pressed screen arranged in an interior thereof. The pressed screen electrically connects the foil conductor to the connection line. A first clamping spring configured for resilient attachment to a first connection web extending from the pressed screen. The first clamping spring fixes the foil conductor to the first connection web in an electrically conductive manner.

A connecting box with a printed circuit board is described which has electrical components electrically connected to conductor rails of the connecting box. The printed circuit board is preferably held in the connecting box by an adhesive layer. Simple assembly and disassembly of the components is possible as a result of the use of the printed circuit board. In addition, the heat generated in the components can be better dissipated via the printed circuit board.

Connecting box for connecting to a solar panel

The connecting box comprises contact elements which allow automatic contacting and assembling of a solar panel with the connecting box. The solar panel comprises fixed contacts suitable for automatic contacting with the contact elements of the connecting box. The contact elements of the connecting box comprise tapered receiving regions allowing automatic insertion of the fixed contacts of the solar panel into a contact region of the contact elements. Inexpensive production is possible as a result of automatic assembling of the panels with the connecting boxes.

The present invention provides a connector for contacting the conductors of a cable. The connector includes a receptacle for receiving the cable and a contacting device which may be placed on the receptacle and which comprises at least one piercing contact for contacting a conductor of the cable. The contacting device is adapted to be placed on the receptacle such that the piercing contact comes to lie in a freely selectable position in the receptacle, in order to contact the conductor of the cable received in the receptacle.

An apparatus for making contact with a foil conductor, in particular of a solar module, the apparatus having a housing, a first connecting region for connecting to the foil conductor, and a second connecting region with at least one contact for connecting at least one plug connector. At least one conductor rail connects the contact to the foil conductor. The conductor rail has a contact region for detachable connection to the foil conductor. The conductor rail has a terminal area for receiving electronic modules, for example a diode or lead portions. Each conductor rail is connected to the contact of the second connecting region.

Apparatus for contacting foil conductors, in particular of a solar module

A connector for establishing an electrical connection with a wire includes a retention member and a contact pin. The retention member has a first surface and a second surface adapted to retain the wire therebetween. At least a portion of the contact pin is insertable into the wire. A method for establishing an electrical connection with a wire includes retaining the wire and inserting a contact pin into the wire.
