A device for shape-forming at least one recess in a film-type material features a die with at least one opening, at least one shaping stem that can be introduced into the opening to create the recess by shape-forming, and a clamping facility for holding the film-type material fast between the clamping facility and the die. Counter-stems which are displaceable at least within the die openings are situated in the die, whereby shape-forming regions of the shape forming stems and the counter-stems for clamping the film-shaped material are, at least in part, superimposed on each other.

Process for manufacturing cold formed shaped packaging having at least one recess made from a metal-plastic laminate . Examples of such shaped forms of packaging are the base parts of push-through packs or blister packs. The process is such that the laminate is held between a retaining tool and a die . The die exhibits at least one opening and a stamping tool is driven into the die opening causing the laminate to be shape-formed into the said packaging and, correspondingly, exhibiting one or more recesses. The die and the retaining tool exhibit facing edge regions , and within the edge region the die exhibits a shoulder region that surrounds the die opening or openings . The surface of the shoulder region lies 0.01 to 10 mm lower than the surface of the edge region of the die . A first stamping tool with low-friction shape-forming surface forms the metal-plastic laminate in one or more steps down to 100% of the final depth of the recess and subsequently the same or a second stamping tool likewise with low-friction shape-forming surface effects the final forming of the pre-formed laminate in one or more steps to at least 100% of the final depth of the recess.

Removable contents such as a tablet, capsules or ampoules reside in each of the recesses and may be removed therefrom by pressing the recess in question and penetrating the lid foil or by removing the lid foil over the recess. The blister pack features a movable lid or a clamping element which covers at least one recess, and the clamping element is arranged in such a manner that it can be slid over the lid foil, and the clamping element closes off again at least one recess where the lid foil has been penetrated or peeled back, or closed again at least one recess which on filling was left unfilled and without lid.

Device for manufacturing cold-formed shaped forms of packaging out of a metal-plastic laminate where the said device contains a die with at least one die opening, in the die opening a stamp which may be driven by the die, and a retaining tool as a clamping facility that holds the laminate securely between the die and the clamping facility. The die and the retaining tool feature a facing edge region and the die, within the edge region, a shoulder region that surrounds the die opening, and the surface of the shoulder region lies 0.01 to 10 mm lower than the surface of the edge region of the die. Parts or in particular the whole of the shoulder region may be covered with a surface layer of low friction characteristics. The metal-plastic laminate is held clamped between the edge of the die and the edge of the retaining tool, and the stamp draws and stretches the part of the laminate in the region of the shoulder over the shoulder into the die opening.

Blister pack without additional outer packaging for pharmaceuticals, having a base with a plurality of recesses that are surrounded by a shoulder and a lid foil attached to the shoulder, where removable contents are accommodated in the recesses and can be removed therefrom by pressing in the recess in question and penetrating the lid foil or by removing the lid foil over the recess, and having an accompanying leaflet. The accompanying leaflet represents part of the blister pack and is situated within the confines of the blister pack, for example in a compartmemt in the base or in a gripping facility on one side of the blister pack.

With a sterilizable composite container as preserving receptacle for food and other filled container products, which . . . by a simple tray or multi-compartment tray of plastic, receiving the filled product, a flexible or semi-rigid lid of a plastic/aluminium/plastic laminate, which is sealed by heat sealing to the border of the tray and any land, and a stretch formed trough of the same shape as the tray, which trough consists of flexible plastic/aluminium/plastic laminate and surrounds, in close contact, the covered tray, the border of the trough being sealed on the lower part of the boarder of the tray by means of the action of temperature and pressure and/or, if appropriate, to the lid protruding beyond the border of the tray, the disadvantage affecting the known packs of flexible laminates for the same purposes of a low dimensional stability and their tendency to take on an unattractive appearance due to the formation of folds, in particular if the filled product is viscous or does not have any inherent stability, is voided.
