An operational check of the safety unit or the safety circuit takes place within the delay time of the relay, assigned to each motor, caused by the pick-up delay or the release delay. Also, the control unit can be equipped such with at least one safety component and/or safety circuit for controlling the control unit that an operational check of the control unit takes place between the operation of an operating element of the hand switch and the starting of the motor or motors. The operating time and the release time of the relay may be delayed by a suitable component so that sufficient time is available for the operational check.

Electric-motor drive

A multiple electrical connector comprising a terminal strip having a bore extending therethrough, a pair of conductor sockets mounted back to back on the terminal strip at the bore and an electrical terminal attached to the terminal strip. One of the pair of conductor sockets has a post and the other has a post receiving bore with the post and the post receiving bore aligned with the terminal strip bore and with each other. The connector socket post extends through the terminal strip bore and into the post receiving bore of the other of the connector sockets with the socket post riveted to the other connector socket.

Double contact element

For a sealing insert of a cable gland it is proposed that the sealing insert be provided with a peripheral step which is adapted to a peripheral step in the pressure screw and that the sealing insert be provided on its outer diameter on the cable insertion side with a conical bevel which is adapted to the conical bevel of the pressure screw, the angle of the bevel of the pressure screw being designed to be more acute relative to the longitudinal axis.

Cable inlet

For a conductor-connecting element for connecting electrical conductors, in which element contact with electrical conductors is made with the aid of insulation-displacement contacts in the guide ducts of a conductor-guiding part, it is proposed that the conductor-guiding ducts be constructed in a conductor-guiding part in such a way that deflection of the electrical conductors takes place at different levels or sequentially, as a result of which the insulation-displacement contacts make contact with the electrical conductors one after another so that a distinct reduction in the expenditure of force is achieved. An insulation-displacement contact formed to receive electrical conductors with different diameters may be used.

Conductor-connecting element for connecting electrical conductors to insulation-displacement contacts

A tension-relieving assembly for electrical and/or optical conductors of a cable, wherein the conductors, which are guided in parallel in the cable, are held in a cable-guiding part and are inserted in conductor-guiding ducts in a conductor-guiding part, and wherein the axes of the conductors in the cable-guiding part and in the conductor-guiding part are offset relative to one another. The conductor-guiding part is provided, at the lead-in end for the conductors, with an annular collar, and a central peg is disposed in the annular collar. The cable-guiding part is constructed, at the conductor exit end, with a stepped recess, such that when the cable-guiding part and conductor-guiding part are joined together, the central peg is pressed between the conductors and forces the conductors outwards against the inner contour of the stepped recess in the cable-guiding part.
