A housing for holding electronic plug-in assemblies having a component installation space open toward the front side of the housing for the plug-in assemblies and a fan space arranged above the component installation space with a cover plate and a lateral air outlet. The fan space contains at least one axial fan with an air outlet on the top side of the fan. The axial fan is arranged in the fan space such that air is drawn out from the component installation space. An air-guiding plate that runs in the direction of the air outlet of the fan space is positioned between the top side of the fan and the cover plate of the fan space.

A double-walled housing,for the accommodation of electrical and electronic components possesses on its inner wall,a ventilation opening,In the gap,between inner wall,and external wall,sits an air filter,with a cylindrical filter cartridge,This air filter is drawn up on a supporting lattice,which is fastened to a removable assembly ring,A closeable service opening,with a cover,is in the external wall,and aligns with the ventilation opening

Ventilated housing

In a double-walled electronics cabinet 1 an axial fan 5 is inserted in its inner wall 2. In order to prevent the creation of air eddies in front of the fan intake 8, an air baffle plate 16, which is in direction of flow, is located over the fan intake 8 in the gap 4 between inner wall 2 and external wall 3. The efficiency of the axial fan 5 is crucially improved by the division of the flow of fresh air, and the creation of air eddies and differences in pressure are purposefully avoided.

Ventilated electronics cabinet

A ventilator insert for cooling electronic components in cabinets and racks, the insert including a ventilator housing provided with a cover plate and a front plate. A plurality of blowers are held in the cover plate. The blowers are supplied with air by way of different air intake channels whose inputs constitute partial regions of the inlet opening and start at the front plate. Each row of blowers has an associated separate air intake channel. By differently dimensioning the entrance cross sections of the air intake channels, the cooling air discharged by the ventilator insert can be adapted to requirements while ensuring uniform cooling of the components.
