A dishwasher, wherein a duct system has a function describing a pressure difference in dependence on the rotational speed of the circulating pump and having a lower rotational speed range in which the pressure difference changes at most in proportion to the rotational speed of the circulating pump and an upper rotational speed range in which the pressure difference changes more than in proportion to the rotational speed of the circulating pump; and wherein the control device has a first rinsing program in which the circulating pump is operated at a normal cleaning rotational speed for normal cleaning of the rinsing stock and a second rinsing program in which the circulating pump is operated at an intensive cleaning rotational speed higher than the normal cleaning rotational speed and lying in the upper rotational speed range for intensive cleaning of the rinsing stock.

Dishwasher with improved cleaning effect

An arrangement for improving a drying performance of an automatic dishwasher including at least one dish basket is provided. The automatic dishwasher is adapted to be operated with cleaning programs including at least one rinsing subprogram and one drying subprogram. An insert for the dish basket adapted to be loaded with at least one of a plurality of silverware pieces and small dishes or other objects includes structure for providing autonomous run-off of dish washing liquid in contact with liquid problem retention areas of the insert. The structure includes a plurality of openings for the penetration of a dish washing liquid, the openings being limited by a plurality of ridges crossing in-plane at a plurality of crossing points forming the openings, and the ridges are formed in a sloped structure having a substantially rhomb shaped cross-section.

Arrangement for improving the drying performance of an automatic dishwasher

An insert having openings for the penetration of dish washing liquid, limited by ridges in-plane crossing at crossing points, ridges are embodied according to the invention at the crossing points in such a sloped manner, that they are provided with a rhomb shaped cross-section. Due to the rhomb shaped profile of the ridges embodied in a sloped manner a type of double pyramid is formed, by which the dish washing liquid can autonomously run off downwards over the sloped planes provided on all sides of the rhombus, particularly in the critical locations.
