An ignition lock system for a motor vehicle includes an electronic ignition key and an electronic ignition lock having a key receptacle. The electronic ignition key can be inserted into the key receptacle to exchange coded operating signals, the key receptacle, together with the inserted electronic ignition key, being movable out of an initial position into at least one operating position. A mechanical blocking device is provided in the key receptacle, which blocks the electronic ignition key against withdrawal from the key receptacle in the operating position. The mechanical blocking device cooperates with the electronic ignition key in such a way that the electronic ignition key and/or the key receptacle is irreversibly damaged when blocking actions of the mechanical blocking device are forcibly overcome.

A motor vehicle light controlling device includes an operating switch and electronics assigned to the operating switch for supplying current to a multiplicity of lamps of the operating light system. At least one controlled switching component provides a clock-controlled supply of current to the assigned lamp circuit. The device is divided into a light switch module and a rear lamp module. A clock control provided, distributed over both modules, in order to influence the lamp currents of the vehicle operating lights. That is, in order to lower the luminosity of certain lights when required, and to be able to increase the on-board system voltage temporarily without the luminosity or lamp power changing as a result. The latter is of interest, for example, for the brief driving of electrical heating elements or servomotors to achieve an advantageously high utilization of conductor material. Lamps for driving light can be dimmed when the vehicles stationary to a luminosity corresponding to the customary parking light. Or, in the event of failure of a lamp or of a circuit for driving light, the corresponding headlamp can be supplied with current clock-controlled for lower light power for an emergency driving light function.

An electrochemical storage device comprises an electrolyte which forms an ignitable gas under certain conditions during use. The electrochemical storage device is constituted by a tank and a lid which is joined in a liquid-tight manner thereto and in which the terminal pillars are brought out at the top. Furthermore, it has a labyrinth-type pressure equalization connection built into the lid to connect to atmosphere the space situated above the electrolyte and enclosed by the housing. A separate, shape-adapted displacement body having an hermetically closed cavity is disposed in the space between the lid and the electrolyte surface so that the housing does not burst in the event of an ignition of the gas.

The device has a memory for storing a detected temperature when a speed signal drops below a threshold value. When the vehicle speed rises above a second threshold value, a delay time determiner determines the delay time dependent on the vehicle speed, and a time delay is activated. The time delay causes the indicator to display the current temperature upon expiration of a period of time equal to the delay time following the activation of the time delay.

A circuit arrangement for the electro-thermal measurement of the filling level in the tank of a motor vehicle which includes a resistance sensor adapted to be heated during a heating time of a sampling period. In order to assure that the resistance sensor can cool off again within the sampling period even after several starting attempts of the engine, the sequence control of the circuit arrangement connected with the voltage supply is connected with a further voltage source from which, after turning off the voltage supply, the sequence control is continued to be supplied with voltage by a switching circuit over a time interval which corresponds to the termination of the sampling period.

A process for the production and further processing of strands for Bowden cables of several wires stranded together by twisting, comprising dressing the strands after stranding between reversing rolls, subsequently stretching and again dressing between reversing rolls. Dressing is effected prior to stretching in several stages with decreasing bending radii and after the stretching again in several stages with increasing bending radii, while the stretching is performed with a force approximately within the area of the elastic limit, corresponding to 45% to 70%, preferably to 55% and 65% of the ultimate tensile strength of the strand. The apparatus comprises a dressing line of two roll conveyors with reversing rolls set in gaps with respect to each other on alternating sides, a stretching line with two tension sheaves set at a constant distance, one of which is driven by a brake motor and the other by a tension motor, another dressing line of two roll conveyors with reversing rolls set in gaps with respect to each other on alternating sides. The rolls of the lower conveyor and of the upper conveyor are combined respectively in magazines and the lower conveyor is mounted stationarily and the upper conveyor is mounted on a stand in a height adjustable manner perpendicularly to the lower conveyor.
