A plastic line including at least an inner layer, which directly or indirectly encloses an interior space, and an outer layer directly adjacent to the inner layer. The inner layer is based on fluoropolymer, and the outer layer consists of the following constituents: (A) 51-98% of a polyamide from the following group: PA 616, PA 516, PA 618 or mixtures thereof, and copolymers containing at least 50% of at least one of these polyamides and also mixtures of at least one of these polyamides with a further different thermoplastic material (A2), wherein the proportion of these polyamides in such mixtures makes up at least 50%; (B) 2-20% of impact modifiers or plasticizers; (C) 0-29% of additives different from (A) and (B), wherein the components (A)-(C) together make up 100% of the material of the outer layer.

Multilayer fuel line

A multi-layer composite in the form of a hollow body enclosing an interior space () is proposed, consisting of three or four layers: an inner layer () adjoining the interior space (), a middle layer () adjoining the latter and an outer layer () adjoining the middle layer () and closing the multi-layer composite () to the outside. If necessary, there is a further innermost layer () which directly adjoins the said inner layer () and is equipped with a conductive finish. The inner layer () is based on polyamide 6, the middle layer () is based on EVOH, and the outer layer () is based on a mixture of (A) polyamide 6 and (B) at least one other polyamide selected from the following group: polyamide 612, polyamide 614, polyamide 616 and polyamide 618.

Fuel line, method for producing same, and uses thereof

Disclosed is a fluid transport pipe which has an inner layer, coming in contact with a fluid, comprising at least one aliphatic polyamide and at least one impact modifier and also at least one outer layer which is connected directly to the inner layer and is formed from an aliphatic polyamide and at least one flame retardant. While the inner layer ensures the chemical resistance relative to the fluids to be transported and the mechanical resistance, the flame resistance is ensured by the outer layer.

Fluid transport pipe and use thereof

The invention relates to a method for laser welding two plastic components A, B brought into contact at least in the joining area, wherein component B facing away from the laser radiation consists of a plastic matrix with a white pigmentation of 1.5 5-20 wt.-%, and component A facing the laser radiation, through which the laser beam passes in the welding process, exhibits a plastic matrix. For a given laser wavelength the travel distance of the laser beam through the component A measures at most 10 mm, and given a white pigmentation of the component A in wt.-%, the product of the travel distance of the laser 10 beam through the component A in mm and white pigmentation in wt.-% is less than 1.25, and the travel distance of the laser beam through the component A measures at most 1 mm.

Laser beam welding method and molded components fabricated thereby

A suction blowmold () having a cavity () formed by two mold halves () for producing extrusion suction-blowmolded plastic molded parts () using the suction-blowing method, in which an extruded, plastically deformable preform () in the form of a plastic melt tube is brought into the closed cavity () and in position in the cavity at least partially sliding on the mold surface (). The suction blowmold () according to the present invention is characterized in that at least a part of the mold surface () of the cavity () has a structuring which provides a reduced sliding friction to the preform (). A method for producing such a suction blowmold (), the use thereof for producing extrusion suction-blowmolded plastic molded parts (), and corresponding extrusion suction-blowmolded plastic molded parts () are additionally disclosed.
