A distance measuring device comprising an optical transmitter channel for transmitting laser light along a transmitter path and an optical reception channel for receiving laser light along a reception path. At least one optical element including a glass part with a coated surface is positioned in the optical transmitter channel or in the optical reception channel. The glass part includes a glass pane with a thickness below 0.3 mm, with a peripheral edge and with a coating on at least one of the two surfaces, and a ring element. The glass pane is adhesively connected to an end face of the ring element. This distance measuring device shows reduced measuring artefacts and/or reduced optical aberration effects and/or a reduced weight.

A surveying system can include a surveying instrument, a control system, a tilt measuring system, a levelling unit, a camera system, and a second distance meter, wherein the control system is configured for obtaining an image position of a captured image, adjusting a tilt status until a first tilt status is obtained, the second distance meter aiming onto the location on the ground in the first tilt status, determining the first tilt status, effecting the second distance meter to measure a distance to the location on the ground, effecting a first angle encoder to measure a rotatory position of a support unit, effecting the levelling unit to adjust the tilt status, and calibrating a preconfigured centre point based on the distance to the location on the ground, a deviation between the first tilt status and the second tilt status, and/or the rotatory position of the support unit.

Some embodiments of the invention relate to a surveying pole comprising at least two pole sections being telescopically insertable into each other so that a height adjustment of the pole is provided, a pointing tip at the lower end of the pole for setting the pole on a terrain point, a receptacle at an upper end of the pole for mounting a position giving means, a height measuring system for indicating the distance of the position giving means relative to the terrain point.

The invention relates to a piezo drive, in particular for use in geodesic devices, having at least one piezoelectric motor element that includes an advancing component, a running surface component, and a receptacle for the running surface component, wherein said receptacle is to be connected to a component to be driven, wherein the piezoelectric motor element has a window of operation of the motor as a frequency range of the movement of the advancing component. The running surface component and the receptacle are sized and connected to one another such that the natural resonances of the running surface component lie outside the window of operation of the motor.

Piezo drive

The invention relates to an optoelectronic measurement method for determining a position, particularly an angle or a length, of a code carrier () that carries a position code () and is movable relative to a detector element () with a degree of freedom, particularly in a rotary or translational fashion. The detector element () has at least one line in the longitudinal direction comprising a plurality of light-sensitive receiving regions () disposed in a linear fashion. In the course of the positional measurement method, a projection is produced of part of the position code () on the detector element () that is dependent on the position of the code carrier (); said projection is produced by at least an emission of optical radiation onto the code carrier () using a laser diode () having an emitter edge (), and said projection is detected by the detector element (). The position of the code carrier () relative to the detector element () is derived from the projection. According to the invention, in the projection on the detector element () thus produced, the axis of divergence of the laser diode emission () running perpendicular to the emitter edge () has a substantially parallel orientation to the longitudinal axis () of the detector element ().

Optoelectronic longitudinal measurement method and optoelectronic longitudinal measurement device

In a geodesic measuring instrument with a fixing device for positioning the measuring instrument and with a measuring component having an optical beam path for surveying a target, whereby the measuring components are mounted in an aligning component that can be moved relative to the fixing device, and can be moved relative to the aligning component, an optical beam path is modified by at least one piezoelectric micromotor.

A target object () used for retroflexion of optical radiation comprises at least six triple prisms (p, p), combined to give a 360 degree reflector which can be arranged on a geodetic measuring pole (). The triple prisms (p, p) forming the 360 degree reflector are arranged in such a manner as to leave a clearance in the center of the 360 degree reflector for accommodating a section () of the measuring pole (). The invention relates to a method for high-precision fixing of a miniaturized component (), in particular having a microoptical element (), on a predetermined fixing section () of a support plate () by a solder joint. The support plate is formed throughout from a metallic material and has a cut-out region () which encloses the fixing section (), is bridged by at least one connecting web () of the support plate (), keeps the heat transfer from the fixing section () to the remaining support plate low and compensates lateral thermal expansions of the fixing section (). Solder material () is applied on the top of the fixing section (). Supply of electromagnetic radiation () to the bottom () of the fixing section () for melting the solder material (') so that, as a result of drop formation and optionally as a result of lowering of the component () the space fills with molten solder material (&#x2032;) for mutual fixing. Method for high-precision fixing of a miniaturized component on a support plate

An optical component () for at least two pencils () of rays has at least one one-piece element () of inorganic optical material and at least two segments () which are coordinated with the pencils of rays and of which the first segment () is substantially surrounded by the at least one second segment (). According to the invention, a depression () is provided between the first and the at least one second segment (and), respectively. This is formed in such a way that the first segment () is substantially optically shielded from the at least one second segment () and is held by means of at least one material bridge from the second segment with a stable attitude thereto.

Laser leveling instrument with a leveling base and fine self-leveling of the laser beam

A device for measuring distance with a visible measuring beam (11) generated by a semiconductor laser (10), has a collimator object lens (12) to collimate the measuring beam towards the optical axis (13) of the collimator object lens (12), an arrangement to modulate the measuring radiation, a reception object lens (15) to receive and image the measuring beam reflected from a distant object (16) on a receiver, a switchable beam deflection device (28) to generate an internal reference path between the semiconductor laser (10) and the receiver and an electronic evaluation device (25) to find and display the distance measured from the object. According to the invention, the receiver contains a light guide (17') with a downstream opto-electronic transducer (24), in which the light guide inlet surface (17) is arranged in the imaging plane of the reception object lens (15) for long distances from the object and can be controllably moved (18') from this position (18) transversely to the optical axis (14). In an alternative embodiment, the light inlet surface (17) is fixed and there are optical means (36) outside the optical axis (14) of the reception object lens (15) which, for short object distances, deflect the imaging position of the measuring beam to the optical axis (14) of the reception object lens (15). The measuring radiation is pulse modulated with excitation pulses with a pulse width of less than two nanoseconds.
