A passenger carrying motor car with a stowage space includes a movable endless belt disposed at a floor of the stowage space. The belt is carried by a rigid supporting member which has a semicircular arc shaped belt guide surface at one end and a belt and driving shaft at the other end. The maximum diameter of the belt during shaft is no greater than the thickness of the supporting member. A second endless belt can be carried by a backrest of a folding seat bordering the stowage space.

A remote-control system for locks having an infrared hand-held transmitter of the remote-control system, which is used for the remote-control of the central locking system of a motor vehicle, and a receptacle for the insertion of the transmitter arranged in the motor vehicle. At least one optical cable, leading into the region of the receptacle for carrying signals from the transmitter, is routed from the receptacle to at least one exit hole arranged on the outer skin of the motor vehicle. In this way, the control of a receiver arranged outside the motor vehicle and associated preferably with a remote-controlled garage door drive is made possible.

The invention relates to a sun visor for vehicles, having a sun visor body which can bend along its longitudinal extension and can be pivoted out of a rest position into a multiple number of use positions, and which can be held in these positions. In order to ensure that the sun visor body automatically bends in the course of the pivoting process on a bent shaft, the sun visor body is pivotably mounted on a curved through shaft. Between the rotatably mounted end regions of the curved shaft it is guided so as to be rotatable and slideable in the direction of a transverse extension of the sun visor body through an intermediate bearing engaging in bifurcated fashion around an associated longitudinal portion of the curved shaft. The sun visor body is guided so as to be longitudinally displaceable on the curved shaft to allow for correct positioning when the visor body and curved shaft are pivoted to be in front of a side window of a vehicle.

The invention relates to a laminar masking device, particularly for use in/on vehicles, comprising a plurality of surface sections mutually flexible with common bending axes, which are transferable alternately into two required bending positions and are retained therein. In order that the masking device may be particularly well adapted in the structural context to existing space conditions, it is flexible only at an obtuse angle at each bending axis located between two adjacent surface sections. A plurality of mutually aligned surface sections of the masking device are constructed as narrow connecting strips, and all the surface sections of the masking device are retained in the required mutual bending position by self-locking at the bending axes.

In order to bring about a single-handed actuation during the insertion operation of the buckle latch into a belt buckle arranged recessed in its non-use position in a pocket of a seat part, the pocket is lined by a shell and the shell is provided with a guide surface along which slides the emplaced buckle latch in the direction of the receiving funnel of the belt buckle. The guide surface may be provided with a guide groove for the positionally correct latch guidance. However, also a push button may extend therethrough whereby the stroke movement produced by actuation by the belt latch is transmitted onto the belt buckle by means of a transmission device.
