A heat exchanger includes a core tube extending in a shell space, several tubes wound around the core tube, and a liquid distributor. The liquid distributor is arranged above the tubes in the shell space and applies a liquid phase of a first medium to the tubes. The liquid distributor has distributor arms projecting in the radial direction from the core tube, an annular channel extending above the distributor arms in a circumferential direction of the shell and a collector tank formed by the core tube. The annular channel and the collector tank are each designed to collect the first medium. The distributor arms form at least one first container and at least one second container separated from the first container.

Method for removing nitrogen from a hydrocarbon-rich fraction

A method is provided for separating off acid gases, in particular COand HS, from a hydrocarbon-rich fraction, in particular natural gas. The hydrocarbon-rich fraction is cooled and partially condensed. The resultant CO-enriched liquid fraction is separated by rectification into a CO-rich liquid fraction and a CO-depleted gas fraction. The hydrocarbon-rich fraction is cooled close to the temperature of the COtriple point by means of a closed multistage refrigeration circuit. The refrigerant is a COfraction of greater than 99.5% by volume. The rectification column is operated at a pressure between 40 and 65 bar. The reboiler of the rectification column is heated by means of a condensing refrigerant substream of the refrigeration circuit that is at a suitable pressure level.

Method for separating off acid gases from natural gas

A process for cooling a hydrocarbon-rich fraction, in particular natural gas, against a refrigerant circuit. In this process, the compressed refrigerant is divided into three refrigerant substreams. Whereas the first substream is work-producingly expanded in a warm expander and the second substream is work-producingly expanded in a cold expander, the third substream is work-producingly expanded at the lowest temperature level. The result therefrom is that the operating point of the cold expander is shifted in such a manner that the refrigeration output of the two expanders is situated in a ratio between 40/60 and 60/40.

Process for cooling a hydrocarbon-rich fraction

The invention relates to an integrated process and apparatus for liquefaction of natural gas and recovery of natural gas liquids. In particular, the improved process and apparatus reduces the energy consumption of a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) unit by using a portion of the already cooled overhead vapor from a fractionation column from an NGL (natural gas liquefaction) unit to, depending upon composition, provide, for example, reflux for fractionation in the NGL unit and/or a cold feed for the LNG unit, or by cooling, within the NGL unit, a residue gas originating from a fractionation column of the NGL unit and using the resultant cooled residue gas to, depending upon composition, provide, for example, reflux/feed for fractionation in the NGL and/or a cold feed for the LNG unit, thereby reducing the energy consumption of the LNG unit and rendering the process more energy-efficient.

Integrated process for NGL (natural gas liquids recovery) and LNG (liquefaction of natural gas)

A process for liquefying and subcooling a hydrocarbon-rich fraction, particularly natural gas, is described wherein, once cooled down, the fraction is subjected to a partial condensation to remove heavy hydrocarbons, particularly benzene, by the steps of: a) the liquefied hydrocarbon-rich fraction is subcooled in a separate heat exchanger (normal mode), b) the supply of the liquefied hydrocarbon-rich fraction to the heat exchanger is interrupted at the latest when a defined solid deposition value in the heat exchanger is reached (cleaning mode), c) the solid in the heat exchanger is melted with a defrost gas and drawn off from the heat exchanger and d) the liquefied hydrocarbon-rich fraction is subsequently returned to the heat exchanger.

Liquefaction of a hydrocarbon-rich fraction

A method for treating a hydrocarbon-rich gas mixture containing mercury and acid gases, said gas mixture being natural gas in particular, wherein the gas mixture is subject to an adsorptive mercury removal and a downstream acid-gas scrubbing. Before the gas mixture to be treated is fed to the adsorptive mercury removal, the gas mixture to be treated is heated at least to such an extent that the gas mixture does not fall below the water dew point in the adsorptive mercury removal and does not fall below the hydrocarbon dew point in the acid-gas scrubbing.

A device for mounting a switch or the like on a mounting plate having a front side, a back side as well as a mounting hole. The switch has a housing with a housing upper side and at least one fixing projection insertable into the mounting hole from the back side of the mounting plate. Moreover, both a support to support the fixing projection against the front side of the mounting plate and counter-supporting elements to support the housing upper side against the back side of the mounting plate are provided. The counter-supporting elements are springs.

Device for mounting a switch or the like on a mounting plate

A condensate valve for condensate that is connectable to the inlet side of at least one oil/water separator of a compressor. The condensate valve is triggered for opening and closing via a blocking element. The outlet of the condensate valve discharges directly into a condensate collecting tank. The condensate valve also forms a pressure reducer for reducing the pressure of the outflowing condensate and discharges directly to the condensate collecting tank. Preferably, the condensate valve comprises a movable piston which can be pressed against a small-diameter opening of the valve seat when the condensate valve is closed by a blocking element. The piston has a larger cross-sectional area at its outlet side than at its inlet side on which condensate acts via an overflow line when the condensate valve has been opened. The overflow line can be formed by at least one through channel which extends axially through the piston.

According to the invention, in the middle region of the rectification (T), a carbon-dioxide-poor stream () which serves for cooling (E) the nitrogen-enriched substream () and/or cooling (E) the nitrogen-enriched fraction () is taken off and the feed fraction is rectified (T) in a separation column (T) having a dividing wall (W), wherein the dividing wall (W) is arranged at least in the region of the separation column (T) in which the feed fraction () is fed to the separation column (T) and the carbon-dioxide-poor stream () is taken off.

Nitrogen removal from natural gas

The invention relates to a method for resolving a hydrocarbon-rich, nitrogen-containing feed fraction ('), preferably natural gas, is described, wherein the feed fraction (&#x2032;) is separated by rectification (T, T) into a nitrogen-enriched fraction () and a hydrocarbon-rich, nitrogen-depleted fraction (), and wherein the separation by rectification proceeds in a rectification column consisting of a preseparation column (T) and a main separation column (T). A liquid fraction () is taken off from the main separation column (T) above the feed-in site(s) of the fraction () that is taken off from the preseparation column (T) and fed to the main separation column (T), and the liquid fraction () is applied to the preseparation column (T) as reflux.

Toggle switch

The present invention relates to a railroad toggle switch for a plurality of switching positions, the toggle switch comprising a housing, an operating lever supported on the housing and having a pivot axis, a switching cylinder supported on the housing and having a rotational axis, a plurality of microswitches and an engaging mechanism for engagement of the operating lever in the switching positions. The switching cylinder is here provided with a plurality of cam disks for operating the microswitches. According to the invention the pivot axis of the operating lever is located in the area of the housing top side and is different from the rotational axis of the switching cylinder, the operating lever being in engagement with the switching cylinder.

Railroad toggle switch

The present invention relates to a device for mounting a switch or the like on a mounting plate. The switch comprises a housing with a housing top side supported on the back side of the mounting plate, a fastening protrusion including fastening means, as well as a plurality of resilient tongues, each having a locking protrusion. The fastening protrusion and the resilient tongues are inserted for mounting purposes from behind into an opening of the mounting plate, with the locking protrusions locking in place with the front edge of the opening. Furthermore, the device comprises a fastening element that can be mounted from the front side of the mounting plate and cooperates with the fastening means of the fastening protrusion. According to the invention the resilient tongues extend from the housing top side substantially in vertical direction and are spaced apart from the fastening protrusion. Moreover, according to the invention the fastening element is formed by a sleeve that can be inserted from the front side of the mounting plate into the opening of the mounting plate.
