A switchgear cabinet assembly or rack assembly including an electric supply device that can be or is connected to a primary power supply. Equipment that is housed in at least one switchgear cabinet or rack on the user side, or equipment that is to be supplied with electricity can be or is connected to the electric supply device. To achieve simple and reliable connection options, a sub-distribution device is located in the switchgear cabinet or rack or in a separate cabinet or rack. The device has at least one sub-distribution unit that can be or is connected to the primary power supply, having a housing or frame and being retained and secured by a mounting unit. According to this invention, the sub-distribution unit can be or is connected to primary supply lines that lead to the primary power supply and to pre-fabricated connection lines that lead to the rack.

Switchgear cabinet assembly or rack assembly

A liquid cooling system having cooling units individually assigned to electronic component groups housed in a rack or a switchgear cabinet, which are to be cooled, and having a monitoring and control arrangement for monitoring a cooling temperature. Effective cooling and temperature monitoring is obtained because the cooling units are liquid cooling units and are connected via branch points to a common central liquid line system integrated into the rack or the switchgear cabinet. The control and monitoring arrangement is for monitoring the cooling temperature in the central liquid line system and for emitting an error signal when a predetermined or a predeterminable threshold temperature in a liquid return branch is exceeded, or when a predetermined or predeterminable threshold temperature difference between a temperature in an inlet branch and a temperature in the return branch is exceeded, or when the liquid flow falls below a predetermined or predeterminable threshold value.

Liquid cooling system

A method and a device for detecting leaks in components conducting liquids by a sensor reacting to leaks. The component to be monitored is inserted into a closable envelope containing the leaked liquid. Electrodes are embedded into the envelope. The resistance and/or the capacitance between the electrodes is changed if leaking liquid enters the closed envelope. With a sensor connected to the electrodes, which reacts to the resistance and/or capacitance changes, a display and/or alarm signal is triggered. It is possible to monitor the entire component for leaks.

Method for the detection of leaks in components conducting liquids and device for executing the method

A switchgear cabinet monitoring arrangement with a control device for monitoring switchgear cabinet functions, including a door position, and for generating monitoring signals for signaling to and/or controlling components relating to the switchgear cabinet functions and installed in the switchgear cabinet or on the switchgear cabinet. A simple and compact design is achieved because the control device is limited to monitoring preselectable threshold values, a door position switch is installed on or in the device housing, and the device housing has one or several indicator elements which react with a visual or acoustic indication when at least one threshold value is upwardly or downwardly exceeded.

Switchgear cabinet monitoring arrangement

A switchgear cabinet including a smoke indicator which has an intake pipe and, in a housing, a smoke sensor as well as a fan or ventilator, which draws air from the interior of the switchgear cabinet into the housing via an inlet aperture in a housing wall and discharges the air via an outlet into the space outside the housing. A sensitive smoke indicator, which is also usable with the switchgear cabinet partially open, has the intake pipe communicating by its upper end region with the inlet aperture. The housing which is enclosed in a sealing manner apart from the intake pipe and the outlet, is disposed in the interior of the switchgear cabinet.

A switchgear cabinet monitoring arrangement having a base monitoring device which is arranged or intended to be arranged in a switchgear cabinet and has at least one bus connection, several sensor connections and at least one triggering connection, for monitoring, controlling and/or regulating switchgear cabinet functions. Various monitoring and control functions of several different switchgear cabinets, along with a relatively simple construction, are achieved because a further monitoring device arranged or to be arranged in a respective further switchgear cabinet is assigned to the base monitoring device, which is connected to the base monitoring device by a field bus. The further monitoring device also has several sensor connections and at least one triggering connection and is designed for monitoring, controlling and/or regulating switchgear cabinet functions.

A switchgear cabinet monitoring arrangement with a central control arrangement for monitoring, controlling and/or regulating switchgear cabinet functions, and having a base device with inputs and outputs, in which monitoring and control components and a voltage supply device are arranged. Adaptation to different requirements is achieved because the base device has several function card insertion slots. Several function cards with different monitoring, control, regulation and/or switching functions are provided with an appropriate identification and for selective insertion in the function card insertion slots. An identification device determines which function card insertion slots ( N) are occupied and of what type is the possibly inserted function card.
