The invention relates to a method for producing a cushion for an orthopedic device, the cushion having at least one fluid-filled volume, wherein the method includes compression molding of a three-dimensional first cushion component made of at least a first material, which is preferably elastic, in a mold that comprises an inner mold and an outer mold, and bonding the first cushion component to at least a second cushion component in such a way that the fluid-filled volume is created.

Wheelchair comprising a height-adjustable and incline-adjustable seat

An upright wheelchair with a chassis (), a seat () arranged pivotably on the chassis (), which can be pivoted from a substantially horizontal seating position to a substantially vertical standing position during upright motion, and at least one footrest () arranged on the chassis (), which is lowered to the ground in the standing position, is characterised in that when the seat () is in the seating position the footrest () is inclined at an angle (&#x3b1;) relative to the horizontal (H) and the angle (&#x3b1;) returns to zero during upright motion.

Upright wheelchair

The invention relates to a stand-up wheelchair comprising a frame () to which two drive wheels () and at least one steerable wheel () are fixed. A stand-up unit () provided with a height-adjustable seat (), a back rest (), and at least one foot rest (), is pivotably arranged on said wheelchair. The inventive wheelchair is characterized in that the seat () is mounted, on both sides, on an articulation parallelogram structure consisting of an upper longitudinal rail () which is connected to the seat () in a fixed manner and comprises a front articulation point () and a rear articulation point (), a lower longitudinal rail () comprising a front articulation point () and a rear articulation point (), and two guides () connecting the front articulation points () and the rear articulation points (). The inventive wheelchair is also characterized in that the parallelogram structure can be displaced by a lifting device () in order to adjust the height of the seal ().

Stand-up wheelchair

A stand-up wheelchair with a chassis, at which two drive wheels and at least a one guidable wheel is fastened, on which a stand-up unit with a seating surface, a backrest and at least one tiltable footrest is arranged, whereby reciprocally underneath the seating surface an upper longitudinal rail and a lower longitudinal rail are arranged, the upper longitudinal rail is firmly connected with the seating surface and both longitudinal rails are connected over four hinge points with their rear ends connected with a backrest, characterized by the fact that the rear ends of the longitudinal rails show a slot, in which the backrest can be longitudinally adjusted with their lower ends.

Disclosed is a wheelchair, particularly an electric wheelchair, comprising a frame (), at least one steerable wheel (), two non-steerable wheels () which are connected to the frame () at a wheelbase (R), and a seat () that is fastened to the frame () and is provided with a back rest (). The inventive wheelchair is characterized by the fact that the wheelbase (R) is adjustable.
