A bleaching bath for processing of a color photographic silver halide material which contains the ferric complex of alaninediacetic acid as the bleaching agent and in a dye-stabilizing amount a formaldehyde precursor of the formula ##STR1## wherein X and Y denote the residual atoms of a hetero aromatic 5- or 6-membered ring, yields color photographic images with excellent dye-stabilizing. Bleaching bath

A color photographic recording material comprising at least one blue-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer containing at least one yellow coupler, at least one green-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer containing at least one magenta coupler and at least one red-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer containing at least one cyan coupler and typical intermediate and protective layers, in which the silver halide coating of all the photosensitive layers, expressed as AgNO.sub.3, amounts to no more than 0.3 g/m.sup.2 and the color-coupler-containing layers contain at least one p-phenylenediamine compound containing at least one primary amino group and at least one ballast group dissolved in hydrophobic oil droplets, can be developed in an environment-friendly manner using an intensifying bath.

Couplers corresponding to formula I below used in multilayer color photographic recording materials are suitable for the release of photographically active compounds. ##STR1## In formula I above, A represents the residue of a coupler which, as a consequence of a reaction with the oxidation product of a silver halide developer under the photographic development conditions, releases a radical corresponding to the following formula ##STR2## Time represents a bond which, on reaction of the coupler with the oxidation product of a silver halide developer, is released together with the triazole ring attached thereto and, in turn, releases the triazole ring with delay under the development conditions;

Color photographic recording material containing a DIR coupler

Good edge effects and inter-image effects are obtained where DIR couplers corresponding to formula I are used in color photogrpahic silver halide materials. ##STR1## in which R.sup.1 is H, Cl, --CF.sub.3, alkoxy, sulfamoyl;

Highly active silver halide development inhibitors are released from DIR couplers corresponding to formula I during color development. Where DIR couplers are used in color photographic silver halide materials, high edge effects and high inter-image effects are obtained.
