The present invention relates to a retaining or guiding material for dogs and a dog harness, characterized in that they consist at least partly of a woven tubular fabric having preferably inserted therein a padding. This considerably improves the comfort of the harness, both for the dog wearing it and the person handling the dog.

Restraint for animals

A collar for holding and leading animals comprising a strap, a quick-locking clasp for putting the strap on and for taking it off, and a fastener for attaching a lead or a chain. The collar is especially characterized by the features that the strap is fixedly connected so as to form an endless strap, the quick-locking clasp being provided parallel to a strap section to be bridged for the purpose of bridging said strap section and for adjusting a predetermined length of said strap.

Collar for holding and leading animals

The invention is directed to an extruder 1, particularly a small extruder for transferring plastics material in strand form to a plasticized state. In order to improve the homogeneity, it is provided that the screw portion 7 serving for drawing in be constructed simultaneously for granulating the plastics material which is then melted in the further plasticizing portion 6. The special arrangement of the draw-in channel 12 in relation to the configuration of the screw profile of the granulating screw portion 7 causes the separation and granulation of the drawn in plastics strand, so that material which is already granulated is fed into the plasticizing screw portion 6 projecting into the cylindrical bore hole 10 of the housing portion 9 and can then be transferred into the desired state along a short distance.

Extrusion welder

A continuous process and apparatus for remelting fluffy, high bulk tangled polymer waste, such as nylon or polyethylene terephthalate fibers, which comprises chopping the waste into pieces 15 to 40 mm. mesh size, passing the chopped waste through a charging zone, a compressing screw, and finally an extruder. The charging zone is formed by a vertically-disposed hopper, having two opposed parallel walls and two opposed converging walls. Inside the hopper is a plurality of agitating shafts having tapered fingers that loosen and disentangle the chopped waste. The waste then is compressed to one-fourth to one-fifth its volume and transferred to an extruder where it is melted, degassed and extruded to a predetermined shape.

Apparatus and method for reclaiming polymer waste

Compacting of a rubber mixture by forcing a vulcanisable mixture of rubber and additives required for its manufacture through a diminishing cross-section. The mixture includes a vulcanising medium and is in the form of a pourable powder having a particle size of 0.1 to 6 mm with a powder density of 0.4 to 0.8 g/cm.sup.3. Compacting is at a temperature of 0.degree. to 60.degree. C, so that a granular, compact, yet not completely homogeneous, mixture of a density of 1.1 to 1.4 g/cm.sup.3 is produced. A device for compacting is also shown.

Compaction of pulverized rubber mixtures

A process and apparatus for the production of materials preplasticized to their final density from high molecular weight powder-form completed mixtures, which are directly used as starting product for subsequent final processing, wherein the powder mixture is conveyed along a helical compression screw and subjected to accelerated compression and, at the same time, preplasticized at a temperature which corresponds to the material temperature required for final processing.
