An elastomeric bearing, such as a hydraulically damping bearing for motor vehicles can have at least two fastening parts which are connected to one another by means of an elastomer spring. Such a bearing can also have a vertically acting hydraulic damping apparatus and at least one hydraulic damping apparatus acting in the horizontal direction, which damping apparatus essentially are chambers filled with damping fluid and connected to one another by damping passages. The chambers of the horizontally acting damping apparatus can be molded into the elastomer spring and disposed opposite to one another in the direction of damping, with at least one passage connecting the chambers. The chambers of the horizontally acting damping apparatus can be bordered by a separating part, and underneath the separating part there can be a second damping apparatus oriented in the direction of the Cz vertical coordinate axis. The chambers of the second damping apparatus can be located one above the other in the direction of the Cz coordinate axis and can be connected to one another by an additional connecting passage.

Elastomeric bearing

An engine mounting for mounting an engine on the chassis of a motor vehicle has at least two fastening parts which are connected to one another with elastomeric springs. The engine mounting also has a hydraulic damping apparatus, and is configured so that the elastomeric springs have a hard shear-compression characteristic in two axes, and a soft shear characteristic in a third axis, the hydraulic damping apparatus being disposed in a direction parallel to the direction of the third axis.

Engine mounting for motor vehicles

A hydraulically dampening bearing which has an internal tube, an external tube and a rubber, or elastomeric, spring inserted between them. Chambers containing dampening fluid are hydraulically connected with one another via throttled passages. An equalizing chamber is connected to at least one of the chambers by a connecting line. The equalizing chamber is subdivided by an equalizing membrane into a first subchamber with dampening fluid and a second subchamber which receives a fluid pressure from an external source.

Hydraulically damping bearing

A hydraulic damping elastomeric bearing includes an internal element, an external element disposed around the internal element to be radially spaced therefrom, and an elastomeric spring disposed between the internal element and the external element. The elastomeric spring has a cavity therein and defines a sealed boundary of the cavity. The cavity includes at least two chambers for being filled with a damping fluid. A throttling channel is for throttled fluid connection of at least one of the chambers and at least another of the chambers.

Hydraulic damping elastic bearing

Hydraulically damping motor bearing, elastic bearing, etc., with at least two chambers containing damping fluid and located axially one behind the other, at least one of which exhibits a wall designed as an elastic spring element, whereby the chambers are separated from one another by a partition and are connected with one another by means of a passage. To achieve a passage which is of simple design and easy to construct, the wall of the passage is formed partly by an elastic portion and partly by a rigid portion of the partition, and both the rigid portion and the elastic portion have a discharge opening emptying into a chamber.
