A wheel carrier for a two-track motor vehicle including a wheel-side carrier part, which carries a vehicle wheel; an axle-side guide part; axle-side rotary parts arranged between the wheel-side carrier part and the axle-side guide part and supported on a common bearing site for rotation relative to each other about a rotation axis by respective rotation angles, wherein the carrier part is pivotable about the rotation axis about a pivot point for toe and/or camber adjustment of the vehicle wheel by rotation of at least one of the rotary parts by the respective rotation angle into a rotary position, which correlates with a toe and/or camber angle of the vehicle wheel, wherein the toe and/or camber angle being arbitrarily adjustable within a toe and/or camber angular range. The wheel carrier further includes at least one movement stop adapted for limiting the toe and/or camber angular range of the vehicle wheel.

Wheel carrier for a two-track motor vehicle

A device for adjusting camber and/or toe of a vehicle wheel of a motor vehicle, includes a wheel carrier including a wheel-side carrier part, an axle-side guide part and rotary parts arranged between the wheel-side carrier part and the axle-side guide part, the rotary parts being supported on a common bearing site for rotation relative to each other about a rotation axis, the wheel-side carrier part being rotatable about said rotation axis about an instantaneous center of rotation for toe or camber adjustment of the vehicle wheel and supporting a brake caliper interacting with a brake disc of the vehicle wheel; and a torque bridge configured as a torque transmission element which supports the wheel-side carrier part on the axle-side guide part when a braking moment acts on the wheel-side carrier part during a braking process, and which when supporting the wheel-side carrier part on the axle-side guide part generates a directed force component with which the wheel-side carrier part is impingable.

Device for adjusting camber and/or toe of a vehicle wheel

An adjustable wheel suspension for the wheels of an axle of a motor vehicle is disclosed, wherein each wheel is guided by means of wheel guide elements and each wheel is operatively connected to an adjustable torsion bar, the torsion bars associated with the respective wheels being partially aligned with each other and each torsion bar being associated with an adjusting device that can be regulated and/or controlled by a controller for adjustment and each torsion bar being mounted on an auxiliary frame via its adjusting device and the controller. The adjusting devices and the adjusting mechanism are mounted in a common housing, which can be mounted on the auxiliary frame as an integral structural component.

A torsion spring system for a wheel suspension of a motor vehicle includes an actuator that is provided on the vehicle body and variably maintains the torsion spring system under tension, and which acts, via a torsion bar and an output lever, with a biasing force on a wheel suspension element of the wheel suspension. The torsion bar is configured in two parts between the actuator and the output lever and has a first bar part and a second bar part coupled thereto with a spring element connected in between the first and second bar parts.

An adjustable wheel suspension for the wheels of an axle of a motor vehicle is disclosed, wherein each wheel is guided by means of wheel guide elements and each wheel is operatively connected to a torsion bar, which can be adjusted by means of an adjusting device, via its wheel guide elements, the torsion bars being partially aligned with each other and each torsion bar being mounted on an auxiliary frame by its associated adjusting device. A wheel suspension for a motor vehicle includes a support element on the wheel-side rotatably mounting a vehicle wheel and a carrier element on the axle-side, wherein the carrier element on the wheel-side can be adjusted for setting a toe and/or camber angle relative to the support element on the axle-side, wherein the carrier elements on the axle-side and on the wheel-side are coupled to a universal joint in which webs of the carrier elements on the wheel-side and on the axle-side are articulated on a gimbal ring element by means of bearing points. The webs of the support elements are articulated on the gimbal ring element at the bearing points by means of ball joints.
