A fastening clip structured to attach a plate-shaped structural part with a second plate-shaped part is disclosed. The parts have fastening openings, one of the openings being oblong. The clip includes a head having a radial conical flange adapted to engage the respective structural part, and a shank having a plurality of resilient legs, the legs being connected to the head at the upper end thereof and forming a conical insertion tip at the free end thereof. The outer sides of the legs have a shoulder adapted to cooperate with the edge of the hole, wherein four legs are provided circumferentially spaced by 90&deg;, the legs being separated by relatively broad slots extending from flange to the insertion tip, the maximum diameter of the shank at the level of the shoulders being slightly larger than the shortest diameter of the oblong hole.

A rotary damper, in particular for actuated parts in automotive vehicles, comprising a housing including a cylindrical damper chamber, a liquid in the chamber, a rotatably supported shaft in the chamber having at least one vane such that upon rotation of the shaft displaced liquid flows through a flow constriction between the vane and the wall of the chamber, characterized in that the vane is inclined relative to the shaft in the circumferential direction of the shaft and relative to a diameter extending through the base of the vane, and that the vane is adapted to swing relative to the shaft such that upon a rotation of the shaft in one sense the vane is moved towards the chamber wall and upon rotation in the opposite sense the vane is moved towards the shaft.

A one-piece clip-shaped holder of synthetic material for fixing elongated articles such as cables, pipes or the like, comprising a socket adapted to be connected to an underground, a bracket pivotally connected to the socket, an arresting tooth arranged at the free end of the socket and engaging behind an arresting surface at the socket spaced through a distance from the point of pivotal connection of the bracket, and an arcuate guiding portion which engages within a guiding recess, when the arresting tooth engages behind the arresting surface, with an arcuate segment formed integrally at the socket spaced through a distance from the point of pivotal connection of the bracket, which is provided with a toothing on one side thereof forming several arresting surfaces, and with an opening formed at the bracket, through which the tooth segment is adapted to be passed and fixed with the aid of the arresting tooth associated with the opening.

A guiding sleeve for head rests at vehicle seats, said sleeve slidingly accommodating a rod of the head rest and having at the upper end thereof an arresting device provided with a handling means and cooperating with an arresting abutment at the lower end of the rod and preventing the rod from being pulled out when the handling means is not actuated, wherein the sleeve bore is provided with an enlargement at the upper end thereof said enlargement accommodating an elongated spring element which has a forward longitudinal side cooperating with the head rest rod and which has a rearward longitudinal side by which it is supported at the wall of the enlargement, with an unlocking element comprised of two parallel-spaced legs arranged in said enlargement, said legs being respectively disposed laterally of the sleeve bore and having the ends thereof cooperating with the ends of the spring element while being adapted to be moved by the handling means towards the spring element in the direction of their longitudinal extension.
