The present invention provides a clip line fixture suitable for use with a clip line wound around a clip reel, the clip line fixture being configured to prevent the clip line from unwinding from the clip reel. The clip line fixture comprises at least one attachment portion shaped to removably attach the clip line fixture to at least one corresponding mating portion of a clip reel at a position along an outer rim portion of the clip reel. The clip line fixture further comprises a hold-down portion shaped to engage at least one corresponding portion of a clip line wound around the clip reel so as to prevent a free end portion of the clip line at least from radially separating from the clip reel. The present invention further provides a clip reel and a clip reel assembly.

A closure clip is provided for closing tubular or bag-shaped packaging for bulk produce such as fruit or vegetables. The closure clip includes a first arm and a second arm extending substantially in a plane and aligned at least approximately parallel to each other, with the arms each having first and second ends and a base portion extending in the center plane defined by the arms and having an inner and an outer surface, with the base portion connecting the first and second arms at their first ends and forming an approximately U-shaped closure clip. The closure clip further includes a first spike having a first end and a second end, extending from the inner surface of the base portion between the arms and parallel thereto, and connected with its first end to the base portion. The closure clip further has at least one second spike having first and second ends.

The invention relates to a closure clip for closing tubular or bag-shaped packing casing for packing loosely goods or foodstuff. The closure clip includes two arms extending at least substantially in a plane and at least substantially parallel to each other, having first and second ends and inner and outer surfaces. The closure clip further includes a bottom portion arranged in the plane defined by the arms, having an inner and an outer surface and connecting the arms by their first ends, thereby forming a substantially U-shaped closure clip. The closure clip further includes at least one arbor having a first end and a second end that extends from the inner surface of the bottom portion, to which the arbor is coupled by its first end between the arms and parallel thereto. The closure clip further comprises a die for closing the closure clip. The closure clip further comprises two guide channels for guiding the second ends of the closure clip, which are separated from each other by a land.

A closure clip for products in bag or sausage form, the packaging cover material of which is formed from at least one packaging film, wherein the closure clip has a clip bottom and two straight clip legs which adjoin the clip bottom in the same direction and which diverge away from each other away from the clip bottom and the central longitudinal axes of which and the central longitudinal axis of the clip bottom lie in a common plane. It is further provided that the clip bottom has a rounding in the form of part of a circular arc.

The invention pertains to a reel, which consists of a metal strip with loops, in particular a clip reel for packaging equipment. The reel must have at least three coils with its free end extending into the direction of unwinding. The reel also features a retaining device, which secures a releasable connection between the free end and another metal strip coil or&#x2014;if available&#x2014;a spool, thus preventing that the reel unwinds. The invention-based embodiment proposes a shape-mated connection.
