To control content distribution to plural mobile entities, a device for managing the distribution of the content may determine mobile entities which participate in sharing the same content and which are located in the same region. The mobile entities respectively have a first interface for communication with a mobile communication network and a second interface for forming an ad-hoc network with another mobile entity. A message indicating at least one peer address of a peer mobile entity may be selectively transmitted to a mobile entity. The peer address allows the mobile entity to retrieve at least a piece of the content over the second interface from another mobile entity.

Methods and devices for content distribution

To control content delivery to plural clients of a mobile communication network, a network entity of the mobile communication network collects geo information of the plural clients and evaluates the collected geo information of the plural clients based on a rule to determine whether the content delivery is to be adapted. The network entity identifies a region for which the content delivery is to be adapted. The network entity selectively outputs a message to a controlling entity if it is determined that the content delivery is to be adapted. The controlling entity controls the content delivery in response to receiving the message, to adapt the content delivery for clients located in the identified region.

Methods and devices for content delivery control

To control content delivery to plural clients () of a mobile communication network (), a network entity () of the mobile communication network () collects geo information of the plural clients () and evaluates the collected geo information of the plural clients () based on a rule to determine whether the content delivery is to be adapted. The invention relates to a method for generating a personalized content file for a user entity using a file repair request for identifying a user. The file repair request is initiated by generating a preliminary file that is transmitted to the user entity, the preliminary file containing a predetermined placeholder. The preliminary file is transmitted to the user entity, the user entity starting the file repair request. The personalized content file is generated by replacing the predetermined placeholder in the preliminary file by a personalized content.
