A pivot bearing, especially for a double wishbone axle for steerable wheels, especially front wheels, of a motor vehicle, in one embodiment is made as a one-piece cast part with a seat or recess for accommodation of a wheel bearing and seats or recesses for fastening of the same on the pivot bearing, two seats or recesses for linking of a brake caliper which are disposed substantially vertically with distance from one another, a seat or recess for linking of a track rod, a seat or recess for linking of a lower wishbone, a seat or recess for linking of a connecting rod, which substantially absorbs the longitudinal forces of the wheel, and a seat or recess for linking of an upper wishbone which is connected with the seat or recess for accommodation of the wheel bearing via a neck-like portion starting from same.

Pivot bearing

A wheel mount, particularly for the front axle of a motor vehicle, has a basic body that has at least individual ones of the following accommodations or recesses: for accommodation of a kingpin for a wheel bearing, for connection of a brake caliper, for mounting of an upper wishbone fork, for mounting of an upper semi-trailing arm, for mounting of a tie rod, for mounting of a lower spring link, for mounting of a further lower wishbone, for positioning of a sensor, particularly an rpm sensor, for attachment of a sensor, particularly an rpm sensor, wherein the wheel mount is produced as a die-cast component made in one piece with these accommodations or recesses and connecting them with one another, preferably from light metal.

The invention relates to an axle support () for motor vehicles. The axle support comprises at least one receiving element () for the steering device, which preferably comprises a tubular hollow body () and is either produced in a single piece with the axle support or is bonded thereto.

The invention relates to an auxiliary frame () for multi-link rear axles of motor vehicles, comprising two lateral auxiliary frame parts (B) which are embodied at least approximately in a V-shaped manner in such an arrangement that the vertexes () thereof face each other and are joined to each other via a central auxiliary frame part (C) that extends perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle. Said consoles are each provided with molded binding positions (A, B; C, D; E; F; G, H) for at least three of the following units&#x2014;the upper transverse links (), the lower transverse links (), the track rods (), and the spring or damping unit ()&#x2014;and each comprise at least two molded binding positions (G, H) for attaching the axle bracket to the bodywork.
