The invention relates to an equipment cabinet for receiving information-technology (IT) and communication-technology components which generate waste heat during operation. Here, the IT and communication-technology components draw in cooling air from the front side of the equipment cabinet for cooling and discharge this air into a hot-air region after having been heated. The air is guided out of the hot-air region and cooled by a cooling device comprising fans. Furthermore, sensors are provided for determining the pressure differential between the pressure in the hot-air region and in the surroundings of the equipment cabinet. In addition, a method is described for regulating a cooling device in an equipment cabinet of this kind.

Equipment cabinet and method for operating a cooling device

The invention relates to an arrangement for cooling equipment and network cabinets, particularly server cabinets, in which the fans are integrated into a door. The resulting fan door, in the closed position, covers an access area of the rear of the cabinet and longitudinally adjacent to the fan door is arranged in fixed manner an air-to-fluid heat exchanger, whilst covering a residual area of the rear of the cabinet and to which is articulated the fan door. The heat loss given off to a cooling liquid, particularly cold water, in the heat exchanger is removed via a pipe system outside the cabinet installation area and rigid connecting pipes of a gas-tight material can be used for the connection of the heat exchangers of the individual cabinets to the building-side pipe system.

Arrangement for cooling electronic modular units in equipment and network cabinets

The invention relates to a cooling system for equipment and network cabinets and to a method for cooling such cabinets, together with the electronic modules located therein. In order to achieve with extremely simple means and particularly low capital and operating expenditure a high power cooling for densely packed cabinets and cabinet arrangements, particularly server cabinets in data processing centers and the like, an air ducting is provided in a substantially airtight cabinet with equally long airflow paths and therefore equal flow resistances, together with a uniform supply air temperature. The circulated airflow is cooled with the aid of an air-water heat exchanger in the lower cabinet area. The heated exhaust air is collected in a collecting duct with a rising flow, reversed and supplied in a falling flow to the heat exchanger.

The invention relates to a casing for receiving at least one energy storage device, whereof the temperature in the casing interior can be regulated to a predetermined temperature level. For this purpose the casing interior is thermally insulated and is in direct heat conducting connection with a heat transfer device, substantially the entire heat flow into and out of the casing interior taking place through the heat transfer device when the casing interior is closed.
