A method for the tilt casting of a component from light metal, in particular of an aluminum alloy, uses a tilt casting mold having a mold cavity. The melt is continuously poured directly into the casting run of the tilt casting mold, which forms the sprue of the component, at the beginning of and during the tilting movement of the tilt casting mold, using a casting ladle or a casting scoop, and flows through the casting run into the mold cavity of the tilt casting mold from the beginning, wherein the casting ladle or the casting scoop continuously tracks the casting mold during the tilting movement.

A pivot bearing, especially for a double wishbone axle for steerable wheels, especially front wheels, of a motor vehicle, in one embodiment is made as a one-piece cast part with a seat or recess for accommodation of a wheel bearing and seats or recesses for fastening of the same on the pivot bearing, two seats or recesses for linking of a brake caliper which are disposed substantially vertically with distance from one another, a seat or recess for linking of a track rod, a seat or recess for linking of a lower wishbone, a seat or recess for linking of a connecting rod, which substantially absorbs the longitudinal forces of the wheel, and a seat or recess for linking of an upper wishbone which is connected with the seat or recess for accommodation of the wheel bearing via a neck-like portion starting from same.

Pivot bearing

A modular system in the form of a load-bearing frame to be arranged in a tail region of a motor vehicle. The modular components which are to be linked or are linked include at least one cast structure and at least two profiles, the cast structure comprising at least one node.

The invention relates to an axle module for a motor vehicle. The axle module is made up of two control arms which can be attached to the vehicle chassis, carry the wheels of the axle, and are connected with one another by way of an axle body. The connection between axle body and the respective control arm is an adhesive connection.
