Disclosed herein are a digital signage system for limiting a luminance range settable by a user according to the number of power supply units (PSUs) and a method of operating the same. The digital signage system includes a panel configured to display an image, a plurality of light emitting diode (LED) driver modules configured to provide to the panel, a display device including at least one power supply unit configured to supply power to the panel and the plurality of LED driver modules, and a system controller configured to control the display device. The system controller includes a display configured to display a luminance setting screen for controlling luminance of the image and a controller configured to change a settable maximum luminance value according to the number of power supply units when the luminance setting screen is displayed.

Digital signage system and operating method therefor

A control device for controlling a display device including a plurality of light source assemblies arranged in rows and columns. The control device includes a camera configured to obtain at least one image of the display device including at least two activated light source assemblies in a first row and at least two activated light source assemblies in a first column; a controller configured to obtain a first intersecting point of a first straight line connecting the at least two light source assemblies of the first row and a second straight line connecting the at least two light source assemblies of the first column; and a display unit configured to display the first intersecting point. Further, the at least one image of the display device is an image in which at least one light source assembly positioned in the first row and the first column is deactivated.

Control device

A display device including a plurality of display units; a plurality of unit temperature sensors respectively connected to the plurality of display units and configured to respectively sense temperatures of the plurality of display units; and a control unit configured to set one of the sensed temperatures of the plurality of display units as a device representative temperature, and adjust a brightness of each of the plurality of display units in accordance with the device representative temperature.
