A washing machine includes a tub containing water, a drum rotatably provided in the tub to accommodate laundry, and a detergent mixing device configured to mix additives supplied into the tub. The detergent mixing device includes a pair of additive cartridges containing a liquid additive and a peristaltic pump configured to selectively supply the additive discharged from the pair of additive cartridges to the tub. The peristaltic pump includes a first path switching motor, a first tub, a second tube, a first rotor and a second rotor rotated by the flow path switching motor, a first rotary bearing permitting a rotation of the first rotor in a first direction and restricting a rotation of the first rotor in a second direction, and a second rotary bearing permitting a rotation of the second rotor in the second direction and restricting a rotation of the second rotor in the first direction.

A washing machine includes a cabinet, a tub, a drum, a drawer disposed within the cabinet to hold detergent, a drawer housing configured to insert into and withdraw from the cabinet, a water supply guide flow channel for supplying water passed through the drawer into the tub, a top cover housing covering an open top of the cabinet and defining a receiving space above the cabinet, a detergent mixer disposed in the receiving space, and a discharge guiding mechanism. The detergent mixer includes additive cartridges that accommodate liquid additives, additive pumps corresponding to the additive cartridges, and a flow channel box including pump intake paths that guide the additives from the additive cartridges to the additive pumps and pump discharge paths that guide the additives discharged from the additive pumps. The discharge guiding mechanism guides the additives discharged from the pump discharge paths to the water supply guide flow channel.

A beverage-making apparatus includes a container including a container body that includes heat-insulating material and has an opening that provides access to an interior of the container body. The container further includes: a container cover configured to open and close the opening of the container body, and at least three channels connected to the container and that are communicative with the interior of the container body. The at least three channels include at least one first channel and a second channel that are communicative with a beverage ingredient pack mounted in the interior of the container body, the beverage ingredient pack configured to hold first beverage-making ingredients. A beer maker may include a fermentation vessel accommodated in a space and having a beer brewing space, a main channel communicating with the beer brewing space, a sub-channel communicating with the beer brewing space, a gas pump connected to the sub-channel to pump gas to the sub-channel, and a gas valve at the sub-channel. Ingredients for brewing beer are supplied to the beer brewing space through the main channel, and gas is supplied to the beer brewing space through the sub-channel, so that beer can be simply brewed while minimizing a user from opening the lid.
