A fuel cell system includes: a stack generating electric power using reformed gas; a fuel processing device supplying reformed gas; a first gas passage connecting the stack and the fuel processing device, and carrying the reformed gas; a second gas passage connecting the stack and the fuel processing device and carrying an anode off gas (AOG) discharged from the stack; a buffer tank storing the AOG; a first buffer tank passage connecting the buffer tank and the second gas passage; a second buffer tank passage carrying the AOG stored in the buffer tank; a gas mixer connected to the second buffer tank passage and supplying the AOG stored in the buffer tank to the stack; and a controller controlling the gas mixer to supply the anode off gas stored in the buffer tank to the stack so as to preheat the stack or remove air in the stack.

Fuel cell system

A fuel cell apparatus may include a stack, a reformer configured to generate reformed gas, a burner, a water supply tank configured to store cooling water, a burner air blower configured to draw in external air and then to blow the air, a vertex tube configured to convert the air into heated air and cooled air, a three-way valve configured to supply the air from the burner air blower selectively to the vertex tube or the burner, a first heat exchanger configured to exchange heat between the air discharged from the vertex tube and the cooling water, a second heat exchanger configured to exchange heat between the air discharged from the vertex tube and the reformed gas, and a four-way valve configured to supply the heated air and the cooled air to the first and second heat exchangers.

Fuel cell apparatus and method for controlling the same

A fuel cell apparatus may include a stack, a stack air blower configured to supply external air to the stack, a humidifier configured to extract moisture contained in exhaust air and to supply the extracted moisture to external air supplied to the stack, a first bypass channel configured to allow exhaust air to bypass the humidifier, a first three-way valve controlled to adjust the amount of exhaust air that bypasses the humidifier, and a humidity sensor configured to sense the humidity of external air. The fuel cell apparatus may also include a second bypass channel configured to allow external air to bypass the humidifier, a second three-way valve controlled to adjust the amount of external air that bypasses the humidifier, and a controller configured to control the first three-way valve and the second three-way valve depending on the sensed humidity value of the external air.

Proposed is a gas heat-pump system including: a compressor discharging compressed refrigerant; an indoor heat exchanger causing heat exchange to occur between indoor air and the refrigerant; an outdoor heat exchanger condensing the refrigerant; a four-way valve switching a flow direction; an engine; a radiator cooling heated coolant; an exhaust gas heat exchanger causing the heat exchange to occur between the coolant passing through the radiator and exhaust gas from the engine; and a first three-way valve switching a flow direction of the coolant and controlling an amount of the flowing coolant in such a manner that the coolant passing through the radiator flows toward at least one of the exhaust gas heat exchanger and the engine.

Gas heat-pump system and method of controlling same

Provided is an engine system. The engine system includes a mixer mixing air and vaporized fuel to form a mixture, an engine driving a cylinder with the mixture discharged from the mixer, a first storage tank supplying the vaporized fuel to the mixer, a second storage tank storing liquid fuel or supplying the stored liquid fuel to the first storage tank, and a heat exchanger performing heat exchange between the liquid fuel discharged from the first storage tank and gas flowing to the engine, thus vaporizing the liquid fuel.

Proposed is a gas heat-pump system including: a compressor of an air conditioning module; a gas engine generating a drive force of the compressor; and a turbocharger primarily first-level pressure to a fuel-to-air mixture and supplying the fuel-to-air mixture to the gas engine or applying second-level pressure to the fuel-to-air mixture to which the first-level pressure is applied and supplying the fuel-to-air mixture to the gas engine.

Proposed a gas heat-pump system including: a compressor compressing refrigerant and discharging the compressed refrigerant; an engine providing a drive force to the compressor; a radiator that cools coolant which is heated while passing through the engine; an indoor heat exchanger causing heat exchange to occur between indoor air and the refrigerant and thus cooling or heating an indoor space; an outdoor heat exchanger condensing the refrigerant; a four-way valve switching a flow direction of the refrigerant in such a manner that the refrigerant discharged from the compressor flows to the outdoor heat exchanger in a cooling operation mode and flows to the indoor heat exchanger in a heating operation mode; and a hot-water storage tank causing the heat exchange to occur between stored water and the refrigerant, and thus cooling the refrigerant in the cooling operation mode and heating the refrigerant in the heating operation mode.

An engine system of the present disclosure includes an engine configured to drive a plurality of pistons by burning a mixture of air and gas, an air supply pipe through which the air supplied to the engine flows, a supercharger configured to compress the air flowing through the air supply pipe, a gas supply pipe through which the gas supplied to the engine flows, and a mixer configured to mix the air that has passed through the supercharger and the gas. The mixer has a venturi tube shape in which a cross-sectional area of a flow path decreases and expands in a flow direction of the air that has passed through the supercharger, and the gas supply pipe is connected to a portion of the mixer where the cross-sectional area of the flow path in the mixer is decreased.

The present disclosure relates to a gas engine heat pump including: an engine which burns a mixed air of air and fuel; a first charger which compresses the mixed air and supplies to the engine; a first exhaust flow path which is connected to the engine, and through which exhaust gas discharged from the engine flows; and a second charger which is driven by the exhaust gas branched from the first exhaust flow path to a second exhaust flow path, and compresses the exhaust gas discharged from the engine and supplies the compressed exhaust gas to the engine, thereby reducing the emission of nitrogen oxide by recirculating the exhaust gas without additional power consumption.

Gas engine heat pump

Proposed is a method of controlling a gas heat-pump system, the system including an air conditioning module having a compressor and indoor and outdoor heat exchangers, and an engine module having an engine combusting mixed gas and thus generating drive power for operating the compressor, the method including: measuring factors that are temperature and humidity of outside air, an rpm of the engine, intake pressure, and an air-fuel ratio, the factors having effects on driving of the engine in an operating environment where the engine is driven; measuring a necessary ignition voltage for an ignition coil in a manner that corresponds to at least one of a plurality of the measured factors; and calculating a dwell time at which the necessary ignition voltage is output by the ignition coil.

Method of controlling gas heat-pump system

A gas engine heat pump and a method of operating the same are provided. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, the gas engine heat pump includes: an engine for burning a mixture of air and fuel; an exhaust gas compressor for compressing exhaust gases coming from the engine; a buffer tank for storing the exhaust gases compressed by the exhaust gas compressor; an exhaust gas valve disposed between the buffer tank and an intake manifold of the engine; an exhaust gas spray nozzle for spraying the exhaust gases stored in the buffer tank into a cylinder of the engine; an exhaust gas sensor for acquiring information on the exhaust gases coming from the engine; and a controller, wherein the controller controls the operation of at least one of the exhaust gas valve and the exhaust gas spray nozzle, based on the information on the exhaust gases acquired by the exhaust gas sensor. Other various embodiments are possible.

Gas engine heat pump and method of operating the same

A gas engine heat pump is provided including an engine having an ignition plug, a compressor connected to the engine, a mixer that mixes air and fuel and supplies the mixture to the engine, a zero governor having a valve that regulates the fuel supplied to the mixer, a throttle valve disposed between the mixer and the engine to regulate a flow of the mixture to the engine, and a controller. Upon receiving a command to stop running the engine, the controller changes a target number of revolutions of the engine, controls an opening degree of the valve based on the target number of revolutions if a current number of revolutions of the engine exceeds a first reference number, and controls the ignition plug to stop igniting if the current number of revolutions of the engine reaches a second reference number which is lower than the first reference number.

The present disclosure relates to a gas engine heat pump including: an engine which burns a mixed air of air and fuel; a first exhaust flow path which is connected to the engine so that exhaust gas discharged from the engine passes through and is discharged to the outside; a turbo charger including: a first compressor which compresses the mixed air and supplies to the engine, and a first turbine which is installed in the first exhaust flow path and receives the exhaust gas passing through the first exhaust flow path to drive the first compressor; a supercharger which is installed in the first exhaust flow path between the engine and the first turbine, and receives and compresses the exhaust gas passing through the first exhaust flow path to supply to the first turbine; a second exhaust flow path which is branched from the first exhaust flow path between the engine and the supercharger, and converges to the first exhaust flow path between the supercharger and the first turbine; a first valve which is installed to be opened and closed in the second exhaust flow path; a third exhaust flow path which is branched from the first exhaust flow path between the supercharger and the first turbine, and converges to the first exhaust flow path in downstream of the first turbine; a second valve which is installed to be opened and closed in the third exhaust flow path; and a controller which controls operations of the first valve, the second valve, and the supercharger according to load of the engine.

Proposed is a gas heat-pump system capable of supplying recirculation exhaust gas to an engine using an exhaust gas turbocharger and thus actively controlling an amount of the flowing recirculation exhaust gas and pressure thereof.

A cogeneration system includes an intake pipe having one end which communicates with the outside air and having the other end which is connected to an engine; a mixer disposed in the intake pipe to supply gas into the intake pipe; and an intake compressor for compressing a mixed gas which is a mixture of the air and the gas, wherein the intake compressor includes: a motor disposed in the intake pipe; and a compressor impeller which is disposed in the intake pipe, and rotates by the motor to compress the mixed gas.
