Provided is a photo printer including: a paper supply unit for accommodating stacked sheets of paper and having a pickup roller protruding from a bottom surface thereof; a platen roller provided at a front end of the paper supply unit; a head provided above the platen roller so as to form an image on the paper fed; a motor for providing a driving force to the platen roller; deceleration gears for decreasing revolutions per minute of the motor; a gear plate provided at one side of the paper supply unit and having the deceleration gears shaft-coupled thereto; and a motor plate having an aligning hole adapted to pass the shaft of the deceleration gear therethrough and a motor hole adapted to pass a rotary shaft of the motor therethrough.

Provided is a photo printer and a method for manufacturing the same that are capable of allowing a gap formed between a head and a platen roller to be kept constantly. The photo printer includes: a frame having both side walls; a paper accommodating part disposed between both side walls of the frame to accommodate the paper therein; a pickup roller located protrudingly from a bottom surface of the paper accommodating part to forward feed the paper accommodated in the paper accommodating part; a platen roller coupled to the frame to discharge the paper fed from the pickup roller forward; a head disposed above the platen roller to apply the heat to the paper; and a pair of brackets each having one side swingably coupled to the head and the other side hinge-coupled to the frame.

Provided is a photo printer including: a base adapted to accommodate paper therein; a pickup roller protruding from the bottom of the base to feed the paper accommodated in the base forwardly; a platen roller disposed in front of the base to discharge the paper fed by the pickup roller forwardly; a head located above the platen roller to apply given heat to the paper; a motor; a transgear engaged with the motor; a first power transfer part for connecting the transgear and the rotary shaft of the platen roller with each other to rotate the platen roller; and a second power transfer part for connecting the transgear and the rotary shaft of the pickup roller with each other to rotate the pickup roller. The transgear, the first power transfer part and the second power transfer part are disposed on the same side surface of the base as each other.

Provided is a photo printer including: a base adapted to accommodate paper therein; a pickup roller protruding from the bottom of the base to feed the paper accommodated in the base forwardly; a platen roller disposed in front of the base to discharge the paper fed by the pickup roller forwardly; a head located above the platen roller to apply given heat to the paper; a double feed prevention member disposed on the front end of the base to form a slit adapted to pass a sheet of paper therethrough, wherein the double feed prevention member has a wedge-shaped front surface so that the lower end thereof is inclined downwardly from both sides thereof toward the center thereof.
