Provided herein are powder-free elastomeric articles exhibiting good antimicrobial and anti-blocking properties. Also provided herein are methods for the manufacture of such articles substantially free from antimicrobial interfering materials, as well as packaging means for maintaining antimicrobial efficacy.

Powder-free antimicrobial coated glove

The present invention is directed to a glove wherein the interior surfaces of the glove contain a film which includes water, glycerol and a botanical extract. Further embodiments of the invention are directed to the composition of the film and the process for applying the film onto the interior surfaces of the glove.

A latex article is provided that contains chromium oxide particles dispersed throughout one or more cured latex layers rendering the latex article, or smaller pieces of the latex article, magnetically detectable. The chromium oxide may be present within the latex in combination with magnetically detectable ferrite. The article may include multiple cured latex layers having chromium oxide together with magnetically detectable ferrite dispersed throughout the cured latex layers.
