Robotic material handling vehicle

An electromechanically operated fuel nozzle having continuously adjustable flow rate settings between a closed position and maximum flow. The fuel nozzle includes a fuel dispensing pipe for dispensing fuel; an electromechanical valve device to control a flow of fuel in the fuel dispensing pipe, comprising an inlet pipe and an outlet pipe. The electromechanical valve device comprises at least one continuously variable flow electromechanical valve to control the flow of fuel; an electronic board for operating the at least one continuously variable flow electromechanical valve; and electric accumulator means for electrically powering the at least one variable flow electromechanical valve and the electronic board such that the predetermined portions provide the particular one of the flow rate settings. The electromechanical valve preferably comprises a servomotor controlled ball valve.

A system and method for positioning oilfield tubulars on a drilling floor (), having an automated tubular handling system, to permit alignment and automated make up and break out of threading operations between a stationary tubular () and a moving tubular (), utilizing image information from radially offset cameras (), processing the image information to recognize the tubulars within the image and develop position information for said tubulars, combining the position information from the two camera systems to develop three dimensional information for each of the tubulars, developing instructions for the automated tubular handling system to bring the stationary and moving tubulars into vertical alignment and lowering the moving tubular into threaded contact, and engaging an automated hydraulic torque wrench to make up the threaded connection.

A system for recording writing performed on a surface includes a rechargeable stylus, a rechargeable eraser, and a charging station for one or both of the rechargeable stylus and the rechargeable eraser. Each of the rechargeable stylus and the rechargeable eraser includes a pair of charging rings. The charging rings are disposed so as to contact a corresponding pair of charging contacts on a receptacle on the charging station for the stylus or the eraser. The receptacle, charging contacts, and charging rings cooperate to charge rechargeable stylus or the rechargeable eraser when the stylus or eraser is placed into the receptacle.
