An LED lamp and a power supply module thereof are provided. The power supply module includes a driving circuit, a OVP circuit, and an impedance detection circuit. The OVP circuit is configured to determine whether an OVP condition is detected by sampling the driving signal, and the impedance detection circuit is configured to determine whether a user touching state is detected. When either the OVP condition or the user touching state is detected, the power switch of the driving circuit will be controlled to limit the amount of a current flowing through the power switch. In addition, the impedance detection circuit could detect the user touching state by comparing signals with a defined level sampled during each pulse, thus enhancing the detection accuracy.

LED lamp and power source module thereof

An LED lamp and a power source module thereof are provided. The power source module includes a switch-type DC-to-DC converter integrated with a function for detecting whether a foreign external impedance exists. The switch-type DC-to-DC converter is configured to enter an installation detection mode when the switch-type DC-to-DC converter is activated. When the switch-type DC-to-DC converter is in the installation detection mode, the switch-type DC-to-DC converter receives an external AC signal received by the LED lamp to detect whether a foreign external impedance exists based on the received signal.

LED lamp and power source module thereof related applications

A circuit board configuration adapted to carry electronic components of a power supply module is provided. The circuit board configuration comprises: a first circuit board, having a first plane configured to dispose and connect a part of the electronic components; and a second circuit board, electrically connected to the first circuit board and having a second plane configured to dispose and connect another part of the electronic components, wherein at least one of the first and the second circuit boards is disposed, perpendicular to an axial direction of the lamp tube, in an interior space formed by the lamp tube and at least one of the two end caps, so that the a direction normal to the first and the second planes is substantially parallel to the axial direction of the lamp tube.

LED tube lamp

An LED tube lamp and an impedance detection method thereof are provided. The LED tube lamp includes a power supply module comprising an impedance detection controller, configured to perform, before the LED tube lamp being lighted up, an impedance detection to determine whether the LED tube lamp is electrically connected to a foreign external impedance in series. When the LED tube lamp is connected to the foreign external impedance in series, the impedance detection controller causes at least two transient variations to an operating current of the LED tube lamp and limits the operating current of the LED tube lamp to not exceed 5 MIU in root-mean-square (RMS), in which a duration of each transient variation does not exceed 1 millisecond when the impedance detection controller performs the impedance detection.

An LED tube lamp including an LED module and a power supply module is provided. The LED module is configured to emit light in response to a driving current. The power supply module is electrically connected to the LED module to provide the driving current based on an external driving signal. The power supply module includes a rectifying circuit, a filtering circuit, a driving circuit, a flicker suppression circuit, and an installation detection circuit. The flicker suppression circuit is electrically connected to the LED module, and configured to control a conduction state of a current path passing through the LED module. The installation detection circuit is electrically connected to the flicker suppression circuit, and configured to detect whether a foreign external impedance is electrically connected to the LED tube lamp. When the foreign external impedance is detected, the installation detection circuit disables the flicker suppression circuit to restrict current from flowing through the current path. When the foreign external impedance is not detected, the installation detection circuit enables the flicker suppression circuit to smooth the driving current by controlling the conduction state based on the external driving signal.

A power supply module is configured to provide, based on an external driving signal, a driving current for driving an LED tube lamp. The power supply module includes a detection path circuit, configured to establish a detection path which is capable of affecting an electrical signal on a power line of the power supply module when the detection path is turned on, and a driving circuit, electrically connected to the detection path circuit, and configured to produce the driving current based on the external driving signal. When the driving circuit is activated by receiving the external driving signal, the driving circuit enters into a first mode to detect whether a foreign external impedance is electrically connected to the LED tube lamp. When the foreign external impedance is detected, the driving circuit remains in the first mode, and when the foreign external impedance is not detected, the driving circuit enters into a second mode to produce the driving current. The driving circuit is further configured to obtain a dimming message from the electrical signal and adjust the magnitude of the driving current according to the dimming message when in the second mode.

Led tube lamp

An LED tube lamp includes a lamp tube having two pins to receive an external driving signal; a rectifying circuit coupled to the two pins to rectify the external driving signal; a filtering circuit coupled to the rectifying circuit to filter rectified signal; and an LED lighting module coupled to the filtering circuit to receive the filtered signal to emit light. The LED lighting module further has a driving circuit and an LED module, the driving circuit includes a controller and a conversion circuit coupled to the filtering circuit to receive and convert filtered signal into driving signal to drive the LED module. The LED tub lamp further includes an over voltage protection circuit coupled to the filtering circuit for detecting the filtered signal, the over voltage protection circuit clamps the filtered signal when determining the filtered signal is higher than a defined over voltage protection value.

An LED tube lamp is disclosed. The LED tube lamp includes a filtering circuit, an LED lighting module, and an anti-flickering circuit. The filtering circuit is configured to filter a rectified external driving signal. The LED lighting module has an LED module, and is configured to generate a driving signal, and the LED module is configured to receive the driving signal to emit light. The LED module is formed on an LED light strip, which includes at least a first pad connected to the filtering circuit, and at least an opening formed on the first pad. The anti-flickering circuit is configured to reduce flickering effect in light emission of the LED module. The LED tube lamp further includes a conduction-delaying circuit; a first rectifying circuit and at least a fuse; or first and second filament-simulating circuits respectively coupled to two opposite ends of the lamp tube.

The LED tube lamp includes a lamp tube having at least two external connection terminals, for receiving an external driving signal; a rectifying circuit for rectifying the external driving signal to produce a rectified signal; an LED lighting module comprising an LED module, for emitting light; and a ballast interface circuit coupled between the external connection terminals and the LED lighting module, and comprising a detection circuit configured to determine whether the external driving signal is a high frequency or high voltage signal according to the frequency or voltage level of the rectified signal, wherein the ballast interface circuit is configured such that when the external driving signal is determined to be a high frequency or high voltage signal, the ballast interface circuit causes current conduction in the LED module for emitting light.

An LED tube lamp is provided. The LED tube lamp includes a lamp tube having a first pin and a second pin at a first end of the lamp tube and a third pin and a fourth pin at a second end of the lamp tube, for receiving an external driving signal; a light strip disposed in the lamp tube, comprising an LED module for emitting light; a rectifying circuit for rectifying the external driving signal to produce a rectified signal; a filtering circuit coupled to the rectifying circuit, for filtering the rectified signal in order to drive the LED module; a current-limiting element for receiving the external driving signal input at one or more of the pins, the current-limiting element coupled to one or more of the pins, and coupled to the rectifying circuit; and a ballast interface circuit coupled to or in the rectifying circuit, and coupled to the current-limiting element, for the LED tube lamp to be compatible with a ballast providing the external driving signal, wherein the ballast interface circuit has a first terminal and a second terminal and is configured to determine whether the external driving signal is output from a ballast, according to a state of a property of the external driving signal, or according to a state of a property of a detection signal transmitted through the first terminal and the second terminal upon the external driving signal being input to the LED tube lamp.

An LED tube lamp includes a lamp tube having a first pin and a second pin for receiving an external driving signal; a first rectifying circuit for rectifying the external driving signal to produce a rectified signal; a filtering circuit for filtering the rectified signal to produce a filtered signal; an LED lighting module configured to receive the filtered signal for emitting light; and a ballast detection circuit coupled to the first pin or the second pin, and coupled to the first rectifying circuit. The ballast detection circuit includes a switching circuit, and is for detecting whether the external driving signal comes from a ballast. And the ballast detection circuit is configured to control, based on a result of the detection, current conduction or cutoff of the switching circuit, to determine whether to conduct current by the switching circuit, which current bypasses a circuit path other than the switching circuit.

The LED tube lamp includes a lamp tube including a first pin at a first end of the lamp tube and a second pin at a second end of the lamp tube, for receiving an external driving signal; a light strip disposed in the lamp tube, comprising an LED module for emitting light; a driving circuit configured to drive the LED module; a rectifying circuit for rectifying the external driving signal to produce a rectified signal; a filtering circuit coupled to the rectifying circuit, for filtering the rectified signal in order to drive the LED module; a first capacitor coupled to the first pin at the first end of the lamp tube; and a second capacitor coupled to the second pin at the second end of the lamp tube.

A light emitting diode (LED) tube lamp includes a lamp tube having four pins for receiving an external driving signal; a first rectifying circuit coupled to two of the four pins to rectify the external driving signal; a second rectifying circuit coupled to another two of the four pins to rectify the external driving signal; a filtering circuit coupled to the first and the second rectifying circuits to filter rectified signal; and an LED lighting module coupled to the filtering circuit to receive filtered signal to emit light. A light-emitting diode (LED) tube lamp with overcurrent and/or overvoltage protection capabilities includes a lamp tube, a first rectifying circuit, a filtering circuit, an LED lighting module, and a protection circuit. The lamp tube has pins for receiving an external driving signal. The first rectifying circuit is for rectifying the external driving signal to produce a rectified signal. The filtering circuit is for filtering the rectified signal to produce a filtered signal. The LED lighting module includes an LED module, wherein the LED lighting module is configured to receive the filtered signal to produce a driving signal, and the LED module is for receiving the driving signal for emitting light. The protection circuit is configured to determine whether to enter a protection state, wherein upon entering the protection state, the protection circuit works to limit or restrain the level of the filtered signal.

LED tube lamp with overcurrent and/or overvoltage protection capabilities

An LED tube lamp is disclosed. The LED tube lamp includes a tube, a terminal adapter circuit, a first rectifying circuit, a filtering circuit, an LED lighting module and an anti-flickering circuit. The tube has a first pin and a second pin for receiving an external driving signal. The terminal adapter circuit has two fuses respectively coupled to the first and second pins. The first rectifying circuit is coupled to the first and second pins for rectifying the external driving signal to generate a rectified signal. The filtering circuit is coupled to the first rectifying circuit for filtering the rectified signal to generate a filtered signal. The LED lighting module is coupled to the filtering circuit and the LED lighting module having an LED module, wherein the LED lighting module is configured to receive the filtered signal and generate a driving signal, and the LED module receives the driving signal and emits light. The anti-flickering circuit is coupled between the filtering circuit and the LED lighting module, and a current higher than a set anti-flickering current flows the anti-flickering circuit when a peak value of the filtered signal is higher than a minimum conduction voltage of the LED module.
