A phase loss detection device, a compressor including the same, and a phase loss detection method are disclosed. The phase loss detection device may include a signal converting circuit and a processor. The signal converting circuit is configured to convert voltage signals corresponding to respective phases of multiphase alternating current (AC) power monitored from a motor. The processor is configured to receive the converted voltage signals from the signal converting circuit, and configured to calculate, based on the converted voltage signals, one or more phase angles between the respective voltage signals. The processor is configured to determine that phase loss occurs if any one or more of the calculated phase angles deviate from a nominal value of a corresponding phase angle of the multiphase AC power by a value higher than a predetermined threshold. The phase loss detection can be performed in a convenient, effective and reliable way.

A nanofiber actuator comprises a composite structure and a vanadium dioxide layer. The composite structure comprises a carbon nanotube wire and an aluminum oxide layer. The aluminum oxide layer is coated on a surface of the carbon nanotube wire, and the aluminum oxide layer and the carbon nanotube wire are located coaxially with each other. The vanadium dioxide layer is coated on a surface of the composite structure, and the vanadium dioxide layer and the composite structure are located non-coaxially with each other.

Nanofiber actuator and method for making the same

A laser remote control switching system comprises a laser source and a control circuit. The control circuit comprises a power, an electronic device, a first electrode, a second electrode, and a photosensitive element electrically connected in sequence to form a loop. Each of the two nanofiber actuators comprises a composite structure and a vanadium dioxide layer. The composite structure comprises a carbon nanotube wire and an aluminum oxide layer. The aluminum oxide layer is coated on a surface of the carbon nanotube wire, and the aluminum oxide layer and the carbon nanotube wire are located coaxially with each other. The vanadium dioxide layer is coated on a surface of the composite structure, and the vanadium dioxide layer and the composite structure are located non-coaxially with each other.

The disclosure relates to a temperature sensitive system. The system includes a powder, a detector, a first electrode, a second electrode and an actuator. The powder, the detector, the first electrode, the second electrode and the actuator are connected to form a loop circuit. The actuator can deform in response to temperature change so that the circuit to be on or off. The detector is connected to the actuator in parallel or in series and configured to show the current change of the loop circuit to the user. The actuator includes a carbon nanotube layer and a vanadium dioxide layer (VO) layer stacked with each other. Because the drastic, reversible phase transition of VO, the actuator has giant deformation amplitude and fast response and the temperature sensitive system has high sensitivity.

The disclosure relates to a method for making an actuator based on carbon nanotubes. The method includes: providing a carbon nanotube layer; depositing a vanadium oxide (VO) layer on the carbon nanotube layer; and annealing the VOlayer in an oxygen atmosphere to form a vanadium dioxide layer (VO) layer. Because the drastic reversible phase transition of VO, the actuator has giant deformation amplitude and fast response.

Method for making an actuator based on carbon nanotubes

The disclosure relates to a method of making nanotube film. The method includes following steps. A free-standing carbon nanotube film is provided. The carbon nanotube film includes a number of carbon nanotubes aligned and connected with each other via van der Waals force. The carbon nanotube film is suspended and defects are induced on the surface of the carbon nanotubes. A nano-material layer is grown on the surface of the carbon nanotubes via atomic layer deposition. The carbon nanotube film is removed by annealing to form a number of nanotubes; wherein the number of nanotubes are successively aligned and connected with each other to form a free-standing nanotube film.

Method for making nanotube film

The disclosure relates to a nanotube film structure. The nanotube film structure includes at least one nanotube film. The at least one nanotube film includes a plurality of nanotubes orderly arranged and combined with each other by ionic bonds. The nanotube film is fabricated by using the template of carbon nanotube film. The carbon nanotube film is drawn from supper aligned carbon nanotube array and includes a plurality of carbon nanotubes joined end to end.
