An electronic device includes a housing, a circuit board accommodated in the housing, a number of I/O ports mounted on the circuit board, and a port shield secured to the housing. The housing defines a number of openings, and the I/O ports are exposed from the plurality of openings. The port shield defines a number of receiving spaces to receive and position the I/O ports, thereby preventing the plurality of I/O ports from becoming loose and detaching from the circuit board.

The sliding bar defines at least one sliding slot, and includes two latching members for respectively hooking the hooks when in the locked position and releasing the hooks when in the unlocked position. The at least one resisting member is slidably received in the sliding slot, and resists the sliding bar against the body to prevent the sliding bar from deforming.

A holding member and two latching members project from the base of the electronic device. An end of the holding member opposite to the base bends toward the at least one latching member to form a latching portion. Each latching member includes a connecting portion projecting from the base, a supporting portion bending from an end of the connecting portion opposite to the base, and a hook arranged at a side of the supporting portion opposite to the connecting portion. The holding member cooperates with the supporting portion to define a clearance for holding the fixing plate, the hooks cooperate with the holding member to secure the fixing plate to the body.

The plurality of first fixing members is mounted on the interior surface of one of the top casing and the bottom casing. The plurality of fasteners extends through the other of the top casing and the bottom casing, and is received in the plurality of first fixing members respectively so as to fix the top casing and the bottom casing together. Thus, the traverse module is firmly clamped by the top casing and the bottom casing accordingly.

A portable electronic device includes a main body defining a locking hole therein and an auxiliary body having a latch therein. The latch includes a button, a slider, and a spring member positioned between the button and the auxiliary body. The slider includes a locking portion retractably inserted into the locking hole. The slider is slidably engaged with the button in a manner that when the button is pressed along a first direction, the slider is pushed by the button to slide along a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, thereby retracting the locking portion from the locking hole. The spring member is for elastically loading the button in a third direction opposite to the first direction.
