Systems and methods are provided for a distributed mufti-sensor witness integrity sensing platform (WISP) approach which allows for positioning of sensors in an enclosed space. In particular, a WISP platform is divided into two modules, with a base module is connected to multiple edge sensor modules with a wired connection. In general, splitting up the distributed WISP system described herein allows multiple sensors to be placed in an enclosed (and generally inaccessible) location. The sensor data can be transmitted from the multiple edge sensor modules via a connection to the base module. Additionally, the use of the two module system as provided herein allows the sensors to be positioned meters away from the first module.

Distributed witness integrity sensing platform

Aspects of the present disclosure are directed to a measurement module for measurement of a multi-electrode resistive sensing element with improved noise performance and accuracy. In some embodiments, stimulation to the sensing element is provided by a current path that originates from a signal source, through a switch block, through a pair of terminals, and ending at a reference node such as ground. An analog-to-digital converter (ADC) is coupled directly to one or both of the terminals to digitize a voltage. The ADC is coupled to terminals on the sensing element to measure a sensed voltage signal before the sensed signal goes through the switch block. As a result, the measured voltage signal may be free of noise that could be picked up from passing through the switch block, and accuracy of the resistance measurements on the sensing element can be improved.

Wireless integrity sensing acquisition module

Systems and methods are provided for wirelessly communicating with multiple sensors. In particular, a multi-sensor platform is provided that acts as an intermediary node and can communicate with multiple integrity sensors. The integrity sensors are each coupled via a wired connection to the multi-sensor platform, and the multi-sensor platform is powered wirelessly by a radiofrequency transmitter. The radiofrequency transmitter can receive data from multiple sensors via one node, the multi-sensor platform, thus allowing the radiofrequency transmitter to have a static transmission beam.

Multi-sensor witness integrity sensing platform

A circuit may include a detector, an approximator, a look-up table, a scaler, and an integrator. The detector may generate a first difference signal and a second different signal based on an input and an output. The approximator may generate, using a one's complement operation, an index based on approximated modulus values of the first difference signal and the second difference signal. The look-up table may select one of a plurality of scaling factors based upon the index. The scaler may adjust the first difference signal and the second difference signal based on the selected scaling factor. The integrator may generate the output based on the adjusted first difference signal and the adjusted second difference signal.

Simultaneously decoding one or more variable length code symbols including storing in a bit FIFO at least a portion of a variable length coded bit stream; storing a succession of extracted bit fields of predetermined bit length from the variable length coded bit stream in the bit FIFO; defining at least one inspection field in the extracted bit field, each inspection field identifying at least one variable length code symbol; and storing in look-up table a decode value uniquely addressable by each bit combination of the inspection field for reading out the one or more decode values corresponding to the unique address defined by the inspection field.
