Plant control system

A control system includes an electronic control unit including a feedback controller and a reference governor. The feedback controller is configured to determine a value of control input such that a value of control output approximates a target value. The reference governor is configured to calculate, with a prediction model, a predicted maximum value of an overshoot amount of the control output that overshoots from the target value. The prediction model is derived assuming that an n-th delay (n is a natural number) occurs in a response of the control output. The reference governor is configured to calculate the target value by correcting the provisional target value of the control output based on the predicted maximum value so as to increase a degree of satisfaction of a constraint condition with regard to the control output.

Control system

This control device is configured to, based on a premise that an operating condition of a plant is a specific operating condition that is defined in advance, search for a virtual current value of a controlled variable for ensuring that a specific state quantity does not conflict with a constraint in the future using a prediction model, set the virtual current value which was found by the search to a target value of the controlled variable, and determine a manipulated variable of the plant so that an actual current value of the controlled variable approaches the target value. Due to this configuration, even if the operating condition of the plant suddenly changes to the specific operating condition, the controlled variable of the plant can be adjusted in advance so that the specific state quantity in the specific operating condition does not conflict with the constraint.

Control device

A plant control device includes a feedback controller that determines a control input of a plant, and a reference governor that corrects an initial target value and outputs the corrected initial target value to the feedback controller. The reference governor determines a target value satisfying an upper limit constraint to be a target value candidate that minimizes a value of an evaluation function. The reference governor determines the target value satisfying the upper limit constraint to be a value of the upper limit constraint when a value acquired by substituting, with the value of the upper limit constraint, a variable of a differential function acquired by differentiating the evaluation function with respect to the target value candidate is greater than or equal to zero.

The invention relates to a control apparatus for an internal combustion engine () including a control target (V,) that controls controlled variable (Pim, Regr). Control apparatus for internal combustion engine

The purpose of the present invention is to prevent disturbance in the behavior of a power plant at the time of switching a controller in a vehicle power plant whose operation is controlled by manipulation of a plurality of actuators by the controller. In order to achieve the purpose, a vehicle power plant control apparatus provided by the present invention is configured as a target value tracking controller in which at least one controller calculates the amount of manipulation of the actuators according to an equation including an integrator for integrating a deviation between a state quantity and a target value thereof such that each of a plurality of state quantities of the power plant can track the corresponding target value. When the controller used for manipulating the actuators is switched from another controller to the target value tracking controller, the initial value of the integrator is inversely calculated such that, in a state equation of a plant model for the power plant with the state quantity as a state vector and the amount of manipulation as an input vector, a differential immediately before the switching of the state vector agrees with a differential immediately after the switching.

Vehicle power plant control apparatus

A control apparatus for the internal combustion engine has a multicore processor mounted with a plurality of the cores, calculates various tasks regarding an operation of the internal combustion engine, and distributes the tasks to the plurality of the cores respectively to perform a calculation, and a controller that makes the number of cores for use in the calculation smaller while fuel cutoff is carried out than before the fuel cutoff is carried out. The controller selects, as a designated core, at least one of the cores for use in a specific calculation associated with combustion of the internal combustion engine. The controller stops the designated core from being used while fuel cutoff is carried out. As the specific calculation associated with combustion, for example, it is possible to mention a combustion forecasting calculation of a cylinder model, a temperature forecasting calculation of a catalyst temperature estimation model, and a fuel adhesion amount forecasting calculation of a fuel adhesion model.

A plant control device according to the present invention includes a feedback controller and a reference governor. The feedback controller is configured to determine a control input of a plant by feedback control so as to bring an output value of a control amount of the plant close to a target value. The reference governor is configured to calculate a future predicted value of a specific state quantity of the plant by using a model of a closed loop system including the plant and the feedback controller, and correct the target value that is given to the feedback controller based on the predicted value of the specific state quantity and a constraint that is imposed on the specific state quantity.
