An electrical connector cage assembly includes a connector casing, a heat sink, and an attaching part. The heat sink includes a base and a plurality of fins extending from a top surface of the base. The fins extend above a marginal area of the top surface to form an open slot with the marginal area. The open slot has two end openings and a side opening extending to the end openings. The attaching part passes through the open slot and protrudes from the end openings to be detachably engaged with the connector casing to detachably fix the base onto the connector casing. Therein, the attaching part is separable from the heat sink from the side opening. An electrical connector includes a circuit board, an electrical connector base, and the electrical connector cage assembly. The electrical connector base is electrically connected onto the circuit board and exposed from the connector casing.

An electrical connector includes an insulation housing, a plurality of rows of terminals, and a plurality of corresponding fixing parts. The plurality of rows of terminals are sequentially and fixedly arranged in parallel on the insulation housing. The plurality of fixing parts are assembled to the insulation housing for structurally constraining the corresponding rows of terminals. An electrical connector set includes a socket and two plugs. The socket includes a connector casing forming two adjacent insertion slots. The two insertion slots are arranged in an arrangement direction and extend parallel to an insertion direction. The connector casing includes a dividing wall, separating the two insertion slots. The dividing wall has an indentation at the insertion openings of the two insertion slots. The two plugs can be inserted into the two insertion slots in the insertion direction respectively. Each plug has two protrusions at two opposite sides thereof in the arrangement direction. The two protrusions are staggered in a vertical direction perpendicular to the arrangement direction and the insertion direction. When the two plugs are inserted into the two insertion slots, the two protrusions between the two plugs are located in the indentation and staggered in the vertical direction.

The heat-dissipating structure is disposed on an outer side wall of the connector casing and includes a base portion and a plurality of fins protruding from the base portion and extending parallel to each other and the base portion. One of the fins protrudes relative to the base portion longer than another one, so that an accommodating space is formed above the shorter fin and extends parallel to the fins. The light-guiding part is disposed above the heat-dissipating structure. A light-guiding rod body of the light-guiding part is accommodated in the accommodating space. An electrical connector uses the electrical connector cage assembly. An electronic apparatus includes the electrical connector and an apparatus casing. A light-output portion of the light-guiding part is disposed toward a light-permeable structure of a panel of the apparatus casing.

An electrical connector includes an insulation housing and at least one terminal. The insulation housing has a fixing hole that has a first inner sidewall and a second inner sidewall opposite to the first inner sidewall. The terminal includes a contact portion, a fixed portion, and a connection portion. The contact portion and the connection portion extend from the fixed portion respectively and are exposed out of the insulation housing. The fixed portion has a first side surface and a second side surface opposite to the first side surface. The fixed portion has a through hole. The fixed portion is fixed in the fixing hole with the through hole located in the fixing hole. The first and second side surfaces face the first and second inner sidewalls and are kept apart from the first and second inner sidewalls respectively.

An electrical connector includes a terminal module and a housing receiving the terminal module therein. The terminal module includes a first, a second, a third and a fourth terminal module, which include a first, a second, a third and a fourth terminal unit, respectively. The second and the third terminal unit are located at a distance behind the first and the fourth terminal unit. At least one of the first, the second, the third and the fourth terminal unit includes one ground terminal and two signal terminals arranged on at least one lateral side thereof from an outmost position to two inner positions. The housing includes an upper cover and a lower cover that are connected and closed to each other; the lower cover includes a hollow-out area, in which a connection end of each of the first, the second, the third and the fourth terminal unit is received.

An electrical connector cage assembly includes a casing, a first heat sink, a second heat sink, and a heat sink attaching structure. The casing can accommodate at least one electrical connector. The heat sink attaching structure includes a connecting part, a first engagement part, a second engagement part, a first attaching part, and a second attaching part. The connecting part protrudes out of a top wall of the casing. The first and second engagement parts are disposed on two opposite side walls of the casing respectively. The first and second attaching parts are connected to the connecting part. The first and second attaching parts detachably clip to the first and second engagement parts for attaching the first and second heat sinks on the top wall respectively.

A terminal module comprises a connecting element having second and third slots; a second terminal unit disposed at the second slots; a third terminal unit disposed at the third slots and opposite the second terminal unit; a first terminal module disposed beneath the connecting element to clamp the second terminal unit and comprising a first terminal unit; and a fourth terminal module disposed on the connecting element to clamp the third terminal unit and comprising a fourth terminal unit opposite the first terminal unit. The second and third terminal units are disposed behind the first and fourth terminal units. A ground terminal and two signal terminals are disposed at one or two sides of the first, second, third and/or fourth terminal units. The ground terminal is the outermost one. An electrical connector is provided and comprises a casing and the terminal module disposed therein.

An electrical connector structure adapted for a plug module includes a housing, a heat dissipating component, and a restraining component. The housing includes a top wall whereon a top opening is formed. The heat dissipating component is disposed above the top opening. The restraining component includes a first restraining segment, a second restraining segment, a bending segment, a pressing portion, and an extending element. The pressing portion is connected to the second restraining segment. The bending segment is connected between the first restraining segment and the second restraining segment. The extending element is coupled to the housing, and the pressing portion is coupled to the heat dissipating component, so as to cooperatively fix the heat dissipating component above the top opening. Therefore, the heat dissipating component can be closely attached on the plug module inside the housing at all times to enhance heat dissipating efficiency.

An electrical connector structure includes a heat transfer enclosure; a base having an upper and a lower insertion slot and disposed in the enclosure; a horizontal intermediate heat transfer member separating the enclosure into an upper and a lower insertion channel, and having an upper and a lower opening formed thereon; a heat transfer element disposed in the horizontal intermediate heat transfer member, and having an upper and a lower heat transfer surface with a first air passage located therebetween; an upper heat transfer sheet having upper heat transfer spring fingers and disposed in the upper opening and connected to the upper heat transfer surface; and a lower heat transfer sheet having lower heat transfer spring fingers and disposed in the lower opening and connected to the lower heat transfer surface. With these arrangements, the lower insertion channel of the electrical connector structure can have a reduced temperature.

A signal terminal of a vertical bilayer electrical connector provided forwardly with a plugging surface having thereon an upper plugging hole and a lower plugging hole and provided downwardly with an electrical connection surface includes a conductive body having at least a bump and/or at least a dent at two ends, wherein the at least a bump is parallel to a plane perpendicular to the plugging surface and the at least a dent is parallel to a plane perpendicular to the plugging surface; a resilient electrical contact segment connected to an end of the conductive body and disposed in the upper or lower plugging hole; and an electrical connection segment connected to another end of the conductive body and mounted on the electrical connection surface to thereby electrically connect with a circuit board. Therefore, the signal terminal is effective in adjusting an impedance, reducing loss, and eliminating delay skew.

A terminal structure includes ground terminals, signal terminals, connection elements, and ground electrical connection elements. The connection elements connect the ground terminals to the signal terminals, respectively. The ground electrical connection elements are in connection with connection elements and in electrical contact with at least a ground terminal. An electrical connector includes two terminal structures and a casing. The connection elements are connected to each other. An insertion slot is disposed on the front side of the casing. The terminal structure is disposed at the casing. The resilient ground electrical contact segments and the resilient signal electrical contact segments face the insertion slot. The ends of the ground electrical connection segments and the ends of the signal electrical connection segments are exposed from the casing. The terminal structure and the electrical connector improve resonance, adjust impedance, reduce signal loss, simplify die structures, and extend service life of a die.
