The present invention relates to the use of a composition comprising specific a-amino-ketones, HO, a HOprecursor or a peracid and optionally an activator as a bleaching mixture for textile materials or dishes either manually or in an automatic washing machine or dish washer. Further aspects of the invention are the composition comprising specific a-aminoketones and HO, a HOprecursor or a peracid and a process for bleaching of stains or of soiling on textile materials or dishes in the context of a washing process either manually or in an automatic washing machine or dish washer. Also aspects of the invention are detergent formulations comprising such a composition and novel compounds.

Metal free bleaching composition

The present invention relates to specific acylhydrazone compounds, their use as oxidation catalysts and to a process for removing stains and soil on textiles and hard surfaces. The compounds are substituted with a specific cyclic ammonium group adjacent to the acyl group. Further aspects of the invention are compositions or formulations comprising such compounds.

Bleach catalysts

The present disclosure relates to specific acylhydrazone compounds, their use as oxidation catalysts and to a process for removing stains and soil on textiles and hard surfaces. The compounds are substituted with a specific cyclic ammonium group adjacent to the acyl group.

The present invention relates to the use of selected metal complex compounds and ligands as oxidation catalysts as well as to a process for removing stains and soil on textiles and hard surfaces. The metal complex compounds have hydrazide ligands, preferably with electron withdrawing groups in the phenyl ring adjacent to the acyl group. Further aspects of the invention are formulations comprising such metal complex compounds, novel metal complex compounds and novel ligands.

Use of metal hydrazide complex compounds as oxidation catalysts

The present invention relates to the use of metal complex compounds having hydrazide ligands as oxidation catalysts. Further aspects of the invention are formulations comprising such metal complex compounds, novel metal complex compounds and novel ligands. The metal complex compounds are used especially for enhancing the action of peroxides, for example in the treatment of textile material, without at the same time causing any appreciable damage to fibers and dyeings. There is also no appreciable damage to fibers and dyeings if these metal complexes are used in combination with an enzyme or a mixture of enzymes.

Use of metal complex compounds as oxidation catalysts

The present invention is directed to polymeric compounds comprising a main backbone derived from at least the following monomeric components: (I) 20 to 99.9% by weight, preferably 50% to 99% by weight, of at least one cationic monomer according to formula (I), and (II) 0.1 to 80% by weight of a hydrophobic unsaturated nonionic monomer that polymerizes in the presence of an initiator, optionally a water-soluble monomer (III) different from either monomer (I) and monomer (II), and optionally a crosslinking agent (IV). Said compounds are particularly useful to overcome the problem of dye bleeding and/or dye transfer in laundry processes.
