A fuel injection control device is applied to an internal combustion engine including a fuel injection valve and causes a valve body to be in a valve open state accompanying an energization of the fuel injection valve to inject fuel. The fuel injection control device acquires a dynamic parameter. The fuel injection control device acquires an injection amount parameter. The fuel injection control device calculates, based on the dynamic parameter, a dynamic correction value. The fuel injection control device calculates, based on the injection amount parameter, an injection amount correction value. The fuel injection control device corrects a fuel injection using the dynamic correction value and the injection amount correction value.

Fuel injection control device for internal combustion engine

An ECU opens a valve element to inject fuel in conjunction with energization of a fuel injection valve provided for an engine. The ECU includes an injection control unit, a characteristic acquisition unit, and a fuel injection correction unit. The injection control unit implements a partial-lift injection during which the valve element does not reach a full-lift position to open the fuel injection valve by an energization time. The characteristic acquisition unit acquires an actual lifting behavior of the valve element as an actual lift characteristic when the partial-lift injection is implemented. The fuel injection correction unit compares the actual lift characteristic acquired by the characteristic acquisition unit with a predetermined reference characteristic and corrects a fuel injection quantity in the partial-lift injection based on a result of the comparison.

A injection control device for an internal combustion engine includes a fuel injection valve directly injecting a fuel into a cylinder of the internal combustion engine, and a drive current setting unit setting a drive current of the fuel injection valve according to a fuel pressure that is a pressure of the fuel supplied to the fuel injection valve, using a drive current profile specifying a relation between the fuel pressure and the drive current. When a compression stroke injection injecting the fuel in a compression stroke or an expansion stroke injection injecting the fuel in an expansion stroke is executed, the drive current setting unit sets the drive current using a predetermined profile having no hysteresis in change characteristics of the drive current with respect to the fuel pressure in a fuel pressure region of the compression stroke injection or the expansion stroke injection, as the drive current profile.
