Apparatuses and methods for semi-dynamic configuration for mobile systems are disclosed. In some embodiments, a wireless device is configured to receive (S) a first radio resource control, RRC, configuration profile associated with a cell, the first RRC configuration profile including a plurality of first RRC configuration parameters; and a second RRC configuration profile associated with the cell, the second RRC configuration profile including a plurality of second RRC configuration parameters; and responsive (S) to at least one of receiving an RRC profile indicator comprised in a downlink control information, DCI, and a timer expiring, switch from communicating in the cell according to the first RRC configuration profile to communicating in the cell according to the second RRC configuration profile, the RRC profile indicator directly indicating the second RRC configuration profile.

Semi-dynamic configuration for mobile system

A method, system and network node are disclosed. A network node for communication with a wireless device that is configured for uplink transmission on a first carrier using a first Radio Access Technology (RAT) and on a second carrier using a second RAT is provided. The network node includes processing circuitry configured to determine whether to schedule the wireless device for uplink and whether to schedule the wireless device for uplink and downlink communications, in a transmission time interval (TTI) according to the first RAT based at least in part on an intermodulation distortion quantity associated with uplink communications according to both the first RAT and the second RAT, and optionally schedule the wireless device according to the determination.

Inter-modulation avoidance for transmission on different frequencies

An overload protection mechanism for network nodes in an edge node cluster uses two tier reinforcement learning models; one at the edge node level and one at the cluster level. The node level reinforcement learning model optimizes a routing policy for a service/application to determine whether an edge node receiving a client request shall handle the traffic for the service/application. The cluster level reinforcement learning model optimizes a policy for an application that determines which neighboring edge node shall be considered to handle a client request for the given application in case of redirection or proxy by the edge node receiving the client request.

Overload protection for edge cluster using two tier reinforcement learning models

Methods and apparatuses are disclosed for link adaption for Passive Intermodulation (PIM) avoidance. In one embodiment, a method includes determining an indication of a link adaption scheme for a wireless communication based at least on a first interference measurement, the first interference measurement measured on a first subset of time resources associated with passive intermodulation, PIM, interference independently of a second interference measurement measured on at least a second subset of time resources, the second subset of time resources being different from the first subset of time resources. The indication of the determined link adaption scheme may be communicated.
