In one embodiment, a gateway device receives, from a centralized broker device, a data-access policy for a given computer network, the data-access policy defining which of one or more accessing entities are granted access to specific elements of data within the given computer network. When the gateway device then receives, from a particular accessing entity, a request for one or more particular elements of data from within the given computer network, it may determine, based on the data-access policy, whether the particular accessing entity has been granted access to each of the one or more particular elements of data of the request. As such, the gateway device may prevent access for the particular accessing entity to any of the one or more particular elements of the data request to which the particular accessing entity has not been granted access.

Broker-coordinated selective sharing of data

In one embodiment, a supervisory device in a network, configured to interact with one or more sensors positioned in a given area and with a conference room scheduling service, obtains an acoustic feature of the area from one or more of the sensors. The supervisory device makes a determination that a conference room should be reserved based on the acoustic feature and selects a particular conference room based on the determination that a conference room should be reserved. The supervisory device instructs a conference room scheduling service to reserve the particular conference room.

In one embodiment, a cloud network provides cloud services to the one or more clients, where data usage of each client is monitored on a per client basis. If the data usage of any client is above a first predetermined threshold, then a WAN optimization platform is automatically implemented within the cloud network for the client having the data usage determined to be above the first predetermined threshold.

The first header includes a first source address of a first source node of a first network, and a first destination address of a first destination node of the first network. Method and system for dynamic secured group communication

In one embodiment, group member devices may be divided into at least one cluster, wherein each cluster includes a primary key server designated to synchronize with a master key server. A method, apparatus and computer program product for providing an encrypted multipoint Virtual Private Network (VPN) service is presented. A first packet of a plurality of packets is received at an ingress provider edge (PE) the plurality of packets destined for a remote server in communication with said egress PE router. A lookup for a destination prefix of a first packet is preformed, and a determination made that a next-hop for the first packet is reachable through a mGRE tunnel. A resolution request is sent to a hub to acquire a routable IP address. The packets sent to the hub are encapsulated, and encrypting until a resolution reply is received and until security associations (SAs) have been exchanged. Then a VPN is established between the ingress and egress PEs and is used for all subsequent packets.
