In various embodiments, provided herein are methods, devices and systems for transcatheter mitral valve replacement in a double-orifice mitral valve. These methods, devices and systems are used to treat patients with mitral valve disease, particularly those who have had failed edge-to-edge leaflet repair, or patients presently considered anatomically unsuitable for edge-to-edge leaflet repair alone.

In various embodiments, provided herein are methods, devices and systems to optimize annular orientation of transcatheter valves and thereby facilitate transcatheter aortic valve replacement in the setting of challenging cardiovascular anatomy. These methods, devices and systems are used to treat patients with valvular diseases.

Devices, systems, and methods to optimize annular orientation of transcatheter valves

The present invention provides devices and methods for percutaneously retrieving an embolized or malpositioned heart valve or foreign bodies from a patient's body. Several of these devices may include a catheter system with expandable and retractable baskets attached to a catheter and guidewire system. The guidewire may be inserted through the lumen of the embolized or malpositioned heart valve, capturing the valve in the baskets, and deploying a mechanism to crush the valve within the baskets. Then the crushed baskets and valve may be retrieved either from the body or to a safer location such as but not limited to the descending aorta. This system is advantageous because it does not require open surgery to retrieve the valve or embolized material.

Device to percutaneously treat heart valve embolization

In various embodiments, provided herein are methods, devices and systems to optimize annular orientation of transcatheter valves and thereby facilitate transcatheter aortic valve replacement in the setting of challenging cardiovascular anatomy. The present invention provides modular transcatheter valve replacement devices and methods of using the same to treat valvular heart diseases. Disclosed is a bottom module that contains a heart valve replacement, and a top module connected to the bottom module. The top module may be bio-absorbable, or may contain one or more severable joints that allow the top module to be removed after implantation. The removable or absorbable top portion serves to add additional length the structure to add in orientation during implantation, but is removed or absorbed to minimize the metal and other foreign material in a patient's body that could cause thrombosis or other reactions.

These devices, systems and methods may be used to diagnose and/or treat patients with aortic stenosis, other valvular heart disease or other cardiovascular or non cardiovascular disease, facilitating precise contrast or drug or device delivery, precise pressure measurement and/or precise drainage or sampling.

Pigtail for optimal aortic valvular complex imaging and alignment

Described herein is a mitral valve and systems and methods for implanting the same. The mitral valve device is designed to easily orient to and conform to the mitral orifice natural morphology. This mitral valve system may be implanted using a system of 2 guide wires that facilitate orientation of the flat portion of the stent properly with the flat portion of the mitral valve that is adjacent to the aortic valve. Additionally, the disclosed valve may have multiple mounds distributed across the outer surface of the valve/stent complex so as to prevent or reduce paravalvular leak after implantation.
